Got my first tattoo as a present for my 21st. My tattoo artist Sono was so patient and gentle and I couldn’t ask for more. He even made the design I wanted more edgy which I’m so in love with. Thank you so much for taking good care of me as I get my first tattoo ️

I considered Marc to be best tattoo artist in Australia and wider, and wanted him to do my most important tattoos… some in Japanese style. And he surely lived up to the expectations… that tattoo needle in his hand seemed so natural and every stroke effortless. He has an extremely pleasant personality that supports some great conversations while working his magic on the skin. Tattoo master in my opinion and great guy. Highly recommended

Definitely would recommend. This was my first ever tattoo session and I walked away with something way better than I could have envisioned. Erick did an amazing job turning my sketch into a great tattoo, if I ever decide to get another I will 100% be returning here.

I highly recommend the work of all artists at Primitive Tattoo from quality of work, hygiene and respect to clients. My frist vist at Primitive tattoo was in 2015 and I have been back there since every six month (not as frequent i hoped) everytime i walked away satisfied with finished art peices and my last visit was a month ago when I met Erick, The Dominator Erick, did a faded Lion arm peice, an art designed by a Yankie that not something anyone could pull off with quality- cannot wait to meet Erick to get my next ink.

Marc is amazing at work in a different level and his performance is more than just a job, its personal and there is no compromises.

Got my Helix done by Rhys, super funny lad, made sure I was comfortable the whole time and the piercing barely even hurt!

I went in to get my frenulum/smiley repierced thinking it had closed up (turns out it hadn't). Rhys was super knowledgeable, professional and talked me through the process while reopening my piercing and fitting me with some new jewellery and gave me good piercing care advice. I was so happy with my experience. Plus the place is completely spotless and while I didn't get the name of the guy on reception he was very kind and helpful too! Will definitely be back and definitely recommend

I feel bad changing my review, but after it healed, I noticed there were some inconsistencies with the linework (not because I didn't care for it properly) My skin reacted a bit weird to it for some reason (never happened before with my previous tattoos) : (Everyone was really lovely though, the shop was really clean and bright. I'm so sorry! T^T

Spent a good few hours in the chair with Eric, and must say the experience had with the Primitive was awesome great bunch of guys and girls down there and the service was outstanding.

I think I am on to my 7th session with Petra over the last few years for multiple tattoos and designs, and I will be back for more.
She's super talented with very clean lines and has great design skills (even with my random ideas). The shop itself is nice and clean with a great vibe. Highly recommended!

I recently had a tattoo here and found them to be highly unprofessional. The design was not done prior to my arrival even though they had been provided with the work in advance. The tattoo itself is not as the stencil looks and also not straight. Extremely unhappy with the work that has been done. I will have to have it corrected elsewhere so that I can wear my new ink.

Got my ink done today by Petra, so happy with the work she did, such professional and friendly service, 10/10 would recommend
