Premier People

I was recommended Premier People (pp) from a friend as way to gain access to the fifo lifestyle.
After my application I was interviewed and then proceeded to commence my training.

The training was a two day course. All staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Guiding you through the process of conveyor belt maintenance but also with advice about fifo life and the job in general.
The training allows you to gain first hand experience on a decommissioned conveyor that pp have at their workshop. Andy will train you up an will show you how to do all aspects of the roller changes so you don’t go to the mine site “blind”

All the staff are professional and helpful. Will always get back to you quickly and help with any questions you have.
They have a shop for all the gear you need and will shout you some essentials.
After and few interactions with the people of pp you start to feel a part of the family.

Great people, great learning experience and invaluable to anyone looking to get into working in the mine sites.

I attended their training for Conveyor Belt Maintenance and it was outstanding! The online training provides the basics, but I was even more impressed by the practical training and the way it was delivered, which made it easier for someone without any previous experience to grasp.
