Power to Empower Inc. reviews
47There are many things to appreciate about Power to Empower. There is a great set up and the staff are really helpful and kind. Some of the trainers are the best you can get too! But I mostly love the fact that they are set up as a Not For Profit organisation - so not only does some of the money make a difference around the world, but if you have something to donate they can usually find somewhere it will be helpful. That to me is special - and deserves supporting! Well done guys!
Small, niche gym with the friendliest staff! Everyone is a mate, respectful, and is a hidden gem in Perth!
Great gym and great people to be around!
Since I've started training here I've seen huge improvements in my lifts due to the help of all the staff and friendly members, it's a great comfortable atmosphere and a awesome community feel!
Love this gym!
Attended this gym for the first time on the weekend after being recommended by a friend.
Upon entering I was greeted by Ben the owner who gave me a tour of the place. All the other people training at the time were very friendly and helpful and I felt very comfortable and accepted straight away.
Ben and the others were very approachable and patient and offer very good advice and I was able to increase my deadlift by 30kg on the first day just by getting some help on my technique.
This gym has some really good quality equipment including a lot of powerlifting/strongman equipment and accessories that you won't find at a commercial gym.
Looking forward to continuing to train here!
Extremely welcoming, GENUINE and professional environment. Professional level strength training and power lifting equipment. Heaps of squat racks, benches and bars. The owner, trainers and regulars are always happy to give advice, a spot or just have a chat. Purely focused on improving health, happiness and performance without the egos and stringlets. Great sense of community. Good value for money and gym profits go toward supporting humanitarian endeavors and businesses in third world countries. Just go down for a day and have a look, its a breath of fresh air compared to most corporate gyms. Would never work out anywhere else.
Great culture. Full of good people looking to work hard and get better. Fantastic Strength & Conditioning gym for athletes and regular gymers who want to train smarter.
Has everything you need from Power Lifting to Strongman. Amazing vibe and professional strength and conditioning coaches on hand.
Really friendly staff who help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I've tried a couple of gyms before P2E and this is by far has given me the best overall experience.
P2E is a gym that caters for everybody, not just in terms of a variety of equipment, but more so the fact that the staff, owners and fellow members care about your goals and what you want out of your membership. I am far from a muscle man and I always feel welcome when dropping by or asking workout questions. It's a real community and ultimately your membership fees help fund charity work - the best gym I have been a member of for sure!
I’ve volunteered for P2E (as it is affectionately known by staff and members alike) for almost two years now, and I’ve enjoyed every moment there! The gym’s facilities are fantastic - all you could want in the way of high-quality gear for lifting, and cleaned multiple times a week by volunteers and management (myself included - there’s nothing I love more than clean racks). I also can’t enthuse enough about my love for the community Ben and Pip have built. From my experience, P2E’s members are friendly, dedicated to their progress, and support one another, whether it’s with a spot, discussing sups and programming, or working out together. All in all, a pretty fantastic place. I hope it keeps growing!
Awesome gym with awesome powerlifting equipment. It has everything I need to compete at a high level, while maintaining a community atmosphere.
Amazing gym! Very positive atmosphere with a very motivating culture. Ben is committed to getting the best possible performance out of you.
The training is very honest and personalised and has demonstrated results.
Definitely recommend!
Overall such a great gym. You'll feel comfortable to workout here because of such a great and friendly community. Very friendly trainers there for people who aren't that knowledgeable when starting off. And the greatest part is that it's all for charity! Membership fees go to charity so you'll be hitting 2 birds with 1 stone ;)
Would highly recommend!
Best decision ever to join Power to Empower The moment I walked in it felt like a community and a supportive group. Ben and Pip (The owners) have done a great job in building this place from scratch. Love the vibes and the people in this gym. Best gym to join South of the River in Perth with no egos if you love powerlifting, olympic lifting, strongman etc. Great job guys
Fantastic equipment and environment to exercise in. The staff are helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Knowing that your membership goes to a charity organisation, is the final bonus that places this gym head and shoulders above its competitors in the area.
Awesome gym that Ben and the team have put together, great for all types of athletes from the biggest of the big dogs to the Ewan's of the world. Great range of supps to buy and equipment to use, and best of all the proceeds help out people in need.
The staff, facilities and atmosphere at Power to Empower is first class. The gym boasts a large array of equipment with an inclusive and supportive training atmosphere to match. A great gym doing fantastic things for the wider community.
Great environment, friendly people. I live away, when I come back to Perth it's the only gym I'll go to. Great casual prices. When Perth guys tell me they are looking for a new gym, I point them in the direction of Power to Empower.
If you’re coming for a community that’s what you’ll get. People who want to help each other in a positive space with the right equipment.
There’s something for everyone, male or female you can get a lot out of a membership here. I’ve moved away now but I’ll be sure to pop in and see the good people at this place. 5 stars!
Ps. The gym is based on being charitable. There aren’t many gyms like that.
Great community vibe with awesome equipment And very knowledgeable strength and conditioning coaches on hand
