Portorosa Fremantle reviews
81Took my partner here for his birthday and was disappointed the tagliatelle portorosa tasted like a fish market did not taste fresh at all didn't even eat half of it.also steak was over cooked although tasted pretty good honestly will not be going back.told the staff and they just said they will tell the chef.
Food is delicious! Absolutely amazing menu choice, great flavours. Loved the carpaccio and gnocchi. Would have been nice if we were given cutlery and napkins with our meal or offered ground pepper/salt, neither was on the table. Probably our fault for not asking up front if we needed to get up to find our own cutlery. Will go back. Food was hot and didn't take long to come out to the table.
The best Tagliatella Portorosa and pizza I had! The seafood and pasta were fresh. The best Italian meal I had. Portorosa in spearwood are amazing ️️️️️
This restaurant served the best Italian food in Freemantle. We decided we’d dine there a second night. We loved the wood fired pizzas, oyster Kirkpatrick, seafood pasta. Tiramisu and crème brûlée are a must too!
Lovely authentic Italian recipe. Been here three times and had beautiful fancy service with a bit of a laugh too! Pizza is always beautiful you can watch them come fresh out of the oven. The pastas are all beautiful. Definitely recommend for a nice night out!
We had an incredible dining experience at this establishment last Saturday night. The food was truly exquisite, undoubtedly the best we've had in Fremantle. The wine we chose was amazing too. What truly set this place apart was the exceptional staff – they were efficient and also remarkably polite and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful culinary adventure accompanied by top-notch service.
Food was ok. But one of the waitresses was not kind and polite as expected. Other girls were nice.:)
Must eat place in Fremantle if you like to save your money. Compared to South St. Which is only about 75 metre away (20160814)
Tonight I had the Risotto Porcini nice and creamy and smooth full of a funghi flavour throughout.
Also had the Tiramisu, lovely light dessert, Melt in your mouth, just the right amount of cake with creme. (P-Platers be careful as it contains Kahlua)
Also recommend that you have a glass or a bottle of Insollia Sicillia DOC. A little dryer than a SSB, cleaner and dryer taste (20230408)
Waited an hour and a half for a pizza and a gnocchi to be prepared. Was told “Sorry, that’s just what it’s like on a Saturday. ” When pizza arrived it was stone cold.
The food is always fantastic and the staff are very friendly. They always do their best to squeeze you in for last minute bookings. Can't fault them. Will keep coming back.
Absolutely brillant Italian restaurant in Fremantle WA.

Delicious authentic Italian food. Wonderfully attentive, warm and humorous service. It was also the most reasonablly priced meal we've had in the area. We'll be back!
This restaurant is SENSATIONAL the staff are excellent [even under staffed)
Customer service 100/10
Food. 1000/10
Just fantastic you have to try
Yes food was good. I was working and food was not important but l had spaghetti with prawns. All very acceptable.
First time here and it was incredible. Shout out to our waiter. Only one there and service was still swift. Pizza was fresh and divine. Only a 4 because I only tried the pizza, but from what I did try, would recommend for authentic Italian cuisine. 10/10!
Fantastic food and service!
The sea food platter is something AMAZING!
Must come back!
Probably the worst food we have had delivered. Pasta was stuck together, mussels were not fresh and some smelt off. Garlic bread had no flavor and tasted blend. Paid $90 for 2 pasta and garlic bread and for that price you would think the restaurant would put more effort on the quality of their food. Especially on a less busy night like Monday.
Honestly service was awful took 10-15 mins for our order to be taken for drinks even though was quite quiet. Our waiter gave us a long speel about his opinions of other staff which was rather unprofessional. Food wise the quality was good but the serving size with regards to the pasta dishes did not feel like it was value for money.
Went for a group dinner. We all ordered something different and had mixed reviews. We ordered a variety of items, and the gnocchi seemed to be the best of all. The scotch filet was tough and very lean, did not seem like a ribeye cut steak. Bruschetta was nothing special. A friend ordered the lasagna but never received it. The servers were friendly, but service was a bit slow.
My husband asked for his steak to be cooked well done and it was still raw blood coming out of it. I had a ham and pineapple pizza and there was hardly any pineapple. I am a tourist and was looking for a decent pizza and I think Dominos would have been better.
