Just felt like veggies. Do not order the vegan bowl. Literally looked like dog poop. Could not face eating it. Reluctantly tried it but just dry bland and yuk.
Very long time for meals

Customer service was good the atmosphere seemed good but the food was not quite right. I ordered beef and surf mushroom sauce with salad and chips and my friend ordered beef and surf garlic sauce with veges. The mushroom sauce was like a jus and the garlic sauce was more like a parsley sauce. They served my steak with coleslaw which is a lazy salad and the garlic prawns were smothered in a pepper garlic parsley liquid. We both paid over $50 each for our meals. On the bright side, good sized meals, the steak was cooked to our liking, good tasty chips and vegetables. Would go here again but i don't think I'll dine in, instead I would have a yarn over a beer while listening to local entertainment.

Melbourne Cup day, never going back there again, 70 dollars per person, and the food was discasting, very very disappointed, all 8of us.

$70 for a ticket. Arancini balls were nice. I had steak along with others on my table. The steak was so over cooked I couldn't cut it tried tearing it apart with my fingers and couldnt so had a bite sorry I couldn't even chew it. Never was that a steak more like cuttings of a large overcooked roast beef. Don't get me started with the so called roast potatoes. Sliced cooked and left for hours in a warmer very yellow and dry inside. No veg was served just a thin layer of pesto.
Port Kennedy Tavern shame on you. Hence our table of 15 will never be back for the Cup again. Have a photo but can't seem to attatch it.

Hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had. I had the rigatoni pasta and my god it was good. Excellent service, would highly recommend.

The food and service is great we love it here
the problem is the colouring pencils are very low grade and it is infuriating trying to colour with them

My husband and I had a guest from overseas with us today and we decided to eat out amongst all of the places we could have gone to eat at we decided on PKT as reviews were pretty good… noticed it was busy but not packed inside or outside getting a table wasn’t a problem having not booked… we sat we ordered the waitress was lovely and did advice us it would be around a 40min wait for our food… no problem we thought.had our first lot of drinks.she then suggested we order some thing to start as it was taking longer than expected… garlic bread pizza came out fast along with out second order of drinks by now it’s been almost 2 hrs wait for our meal.our waitress came over and asked if we’d like another drink on the house Yes please how much longer yours is the next docket she says so over 1 1/2 hrs later we had our food at this point in time we weren’t happy… we ate and left VERY disappointed and embarrassed as we had or overseas guest… We won’t be back …….

Service was good and the dining room itself is very nice. Didn't get what I ordered, which was a bit disappointing (ordered a beef burger and got a chicken burger), as I was really looking forward to it.

Slow meals. Took over an hour for ordered food to arrive, after we chased it. Not good enough.

Had one of the worst steak santas at pk today.paid 26.90 coz of pub hol.haven't been in bout 5 yrs and wont be back for another 5 I gues.

Very busy and noisy on a Friday night. Food took about an hour to arrive. Food was ok. Ordered a beer and coffee. After about 30 mins asked where the coffee was. The reply was it will be an hour on a Friday night. This could have been advised and we wouldn't have worried. Left without getting it in the end. One unhappy caffeine addict. Won't attend this pub on a Friday again.

Absolutely fantastic service. Booked a private room for a birthday party on Saturday and from the first meeting, to the organisation, to the food, to the lady on our private bar, everything was perfect. Thank you PK Tavern!

For the price I expect a lot higher quality. The pizza is something you could buy in the frozen section of woolworths and the fish needed salt just to taste like something. I don't like doing negative reviews but so over paying for food I can cook better at home.

Great food and top service. Will definitely be making it a regular meal and drink stop.
Nice and roomy plus spick and span.

I took my wife to lunch at PK Tavern today, I decided for a change from the steak to have seafood Bouillabaisse. Taste wise this was absolutely magnificent, the seafood content was dismally lacking, 6 mussels, 3 prawns, 1/2 a squid ring and no fish to speak of. I politely voiced my concern to the waitress who said she would pass on my complaint, which got no response. This won't stop me going back as there meals are usually spot on, I just expected better.seafood Bouillabaisse, as written in the menu.mussels, prawns, squid, fish, rouille, spiced tomato broth, warm bread, butter.

Had an awesome night, and feed, there was a little hiccup with our mains order not going through (probably because we did two separate orders, entrees and then mains) but was handled perfectly by staff, meals were a solid 10 and staff were friendly and funny, especially Belinda who really made our night.

Went there and was immediately stopped and was demanded for double VAX which I am but apparently paper form is not real proof over the experience was bad I would not have minded but they were just so rude never ever going back

Bring in double Vax B4 it's mandated at your restaurant? Sunday the day B4? Not a fan! Enjoy your journey with McGowan! $200 in my pocket not yours!

Had dinner there last night ordered the pulled pork pizza, needed a magnifying glass to find the pork, and the whole pizza was coated in sour cream?

. My wife had a vegetarian meal that was all deep fried stogge. Said cherry tomatoes on the menu, but was just soggy large sliced tomato, nachos tasted of soaked old lard.

Waitress said she would speak to head chef when I replied to her asking how was the meal. Head Chef? I could do better if that's the food that is brought out.

Only good for a pint and a bowl of wedges. Need to lift their game big-time.
