Port City Cycles reviews
28I was struggling to sort out my son's e scooter brakes and the guys at Port City Cycles were very helpful. They booked the scooter in for a service, ordered in the correct parts and got the scooter back to brand new condition. They replaced a tube which was a nightmare to do and probably took them a lot longer than they charged me. And they are nice people. Thank you, I'll be back!
I don't usually do reviews, but these people were super helpful, friendly and honest. Needed an exploded tyre replaced, couldn't find the right one anywhere, except here. Called them, and picked it up in an hour, along with some extra helpful information getting stubborn tyres seated. Thank you!
Thanks Rod for the great service for our eBike. Really appreciated that you replaced the brake pads almost on the spot for me. Love the new store.
Highly recommend PCC for anything bike related from bike-car carry racks, kids bikes, adult bikes, stationary trainers, to bike servicing and anything in between.
I can't recommend this place enough. Have had my bikes serviced several times over the past few years before they relocated from around the corner, as well as picking up a few bits and bobs. Friendly and helpful service and I will be back.
Fantastic little shop, super helpful staff and have always helped out with any problem large or small. They are also great with e-bike projects if you need assistance
Condescending and rude staff, mercer are a much better bet, don't waste your time here, staff are arrogant and need more training
Really rude and unpleasant experience, never again, unwelcoming when we wanted to know more about cycles.
Great service, great people and exceptional value. The Saturday group ride is the best in town - get on it!
I’ve had cause to go here a few times for different things recently and Rod the owner has given me first class service every time. His skill and knowledge has been invaluable. I highly recommend going here first for anything you need for your bike. 5 stars simply isn’t enough.
No, sorry your attitude warrants never stepping a foot in ya door again.i brought my new bike from hilton bike shop.much better place to deal with
My mother and I just don’t know how to express our gratitude to them! They truly light up our day! We hired 2 bikes from this store for cycling in the Rottnest Island and supposed to return 4: 00pm the next day. But the ferry was delayed due to the storm and we had a awful day on the Island, I phoned the store for inquiring the solution as we would arrived 6: 15pm (one hour later than the closure) and planned to leave Fremantle that night. At first, they kindly thought about our situation and offered that we can locked the bike nearby without any extra charge. But when we finally arrived nearly 7pm and was passing by the store, we are stopped by the manager, he just waited us for 2 hours! I thought I’ll remember for long time of the cheerful voice ‘Hey, ladies! ’. The words just felt like with temperature in the bleak cold wind.
Would definitely recommend these guys! Helped me out with a flat tyre and gave advice on some gear I needed.
Rear wheel of my roadbike was damaged and needed to replace it. Live close from Port City Cycles so went there. Got helped immediately. Within just ten minutes had a brand new wheel in my bike for a super affordable price which saved me a lot of time and inconvenience doing it myself. On top of that my gears and breaks got adjusted (so they are working smoothly once again) without being charged for that. Thanks for the great help!
I got into the store with a very simple request, yet I perceived attention to my needs, which have been addressed with courtesy
Put off visiting this shop by the guys they let wear their jerseys. After riding a few kms with a group wearing Port City Cycles jerseys and taking some solid pulls down Riverside Drive and through Nedlands, was verbally abused by one fella. The group couldn't roll properly, surged, and several guys just wanted to wait for the sprints, so I was taken aback at the abuse. Get control of your boys Port City Cycles.
In response to the response.an entire group circling the city in your jerseys does represent your brand (either for good or bad). And I did give the rider a mouthful too. Rather than going on the offensive, perhaps reassurance to the riders of Perth that the attitude of the shop group does not reflect what your shop is about would be nice.
Rod Turner gives Professional Service and its a Dynamic Shop. It houses a huge variety of cycling related merchandise, a great central Fremantle location, and yeah its also "Run by Cyclists for Cyclists". Rods leadership on Saturday Group rides has helped me and others become better, confident riders.
Great place to hire a quality road bike in Fremantle. Cannondale CAAD10 with 105 for a good price.
We bought a treadmill from port city cycles. They was very efficient for the whole procedure. Delivery was very quick and product was mark free as promised. We would recommend.
I wanted a product that was listed on the website of a company across east. Port City Cycles was listed as the Perth agent. They did not keep stock, but happily ordered the product for me. Unfortunately the product failed (no fault of PCC). I returned the product and was immediately offered a full refund - no arguments. I can highly recommend Port City Cycles for their professionalism and integrity. You can shop there with peace of mind that you will be treated well.
