Pinchos Bar De Tapas reviews
85 Credit where due, the young Aussie barista who took my takeaway coffee order thismorning (Tuesday 2/1/24) was super friendly and does great coffee!
The young woman who held the door open for me while I was juggling my coffees deserves a shout-out, also.
Excellent service, congratulations on wonderful staff
My new favourite nibble! Flavours like you wouldnt believe service so special. Just amazing
We have been twice now and the food and cocktails are amazing. We did a birthday dinner and the staff made it so special and really went the extra mile. Highly recommend:)
It’s one of our favourite places for tapas. Great selection of great food. Nice vibe in a nice location. Very popular. Lots of parking in the area. Suitable for all ages. Fully recommended!
Fast and friendly service on a busy Wednesday night. Food was delicious, and flowed well from the kitchen without been dumped on the table all at once.
Had a great experience at Pinchos - the food was great, the staff were accommodating of my nut allergy and were very prompt and friendly. We didn't have a reservation however they managed to fit us in the back. I would definitely recommend the olives as a must-have, however everything we had was excellent and I would definitely come back and try something different next time!
We booked for a bottomless lunch for 15 people well in advance. The service was average, they were definitely understaffed with a full house of patrons, making it took 25 minutes for drinks to come out initially eating well into our two hour time frame. Drinks were quite slow, but towards the end did speed up. More staff for behind the bar on a Saturday is a must. Needless to say they were tasty sangrias though!
The food absolutely saved it. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and they catered very well to the dietary requirements we had. Delicious!
I’d definitely come back.
Service was amazing, great staff, food was great as well. Thank you for the kindness and the care for your customers!
I am a regular visitor to Pinchos, but my experience last week left me extremely disappointed. I ordered the Flan for dessert, which came out covered in almonds (no mention of almonds in the menu description). As I am allergic, I confirmed with the waitress and her response was "Well they have already made it now. ". I was left to pay full price for a dessert I couldn't even touch and there was no compromise or alternative offered. Very disappointing.
Very disappointed with our list visit to pinchos. We have been many times before and had a great experience.
I paid online and put down my credit card
We arrived at dinner on time and were seated by staff.
I had my phone in my bag during dinner and after paying the bill noticed 2 missed calls from pinchos. The manger the told me they had charged my card for a no show $60! And instead of apologising she demanded to know who seated us. Embarrassingly we had to point him out. Without a word disappeared for ages, then offered us gift vouchers instead of a refund. It wasn’t the error it was the lack of care and apology, and us feeling we had done something wrong! When the staff had not checked us in correctly.
She then gave us $60 in cash and still no apology. Very sad for regular clients.
*** love the response - still no apology from them and we did say we had a booking under Blair to your staff.but you will take no responsibility for that either.maybe better training would be an idea?
Fantastic food only let down is the staff they are in a hurry to pack up and leave.it was 9.30pm and they closed the bar It was actually very disappointing.they brought our food to the table then proceed to pack up all of the tables beside and around us so we were sitting in a packed up restaurant at 9.15pm at night.seriously Perth that's not late!
We got there at 7: 10 and ordered food shortly after. 45 minutes later we had no table water no cutlery or plates or food so asked the waitress how long it would be. She rushed over to the other waitress who took our order and we saw her pull our order sheet out of her apron and frantically put the order through at the till. So she forgot to put our order through even though she walked passed our table multiple times and saw we had no food. She said sorry for the wait but didn't own up to her mistake. We get the its busy and we're all human but if we didn't ask we'd probably still be waiting on food. No sense to comp at least a cheap drink or follow up from any waitresses during the meal. Food was also average at best. Would not recommend this place if you value customer service. Plenty of other places to eat around the area.
Great spot with excellent food and great service. Bonus points for going the extra mile to help out my vegan nephew, making suggestions and adapting dishes. Been here before and will visit again soon.
Went to Pinchos on the 27th of Nov for a birthday. We had a table of 9 and decided on bottomless brunch. At $65 a head we were expecting FAR more food than what we were served. Between 9 of us (and a bill that totalled close to $700) we were served 8 salads, 2 boards of toasted bread and meat - these boards looked like they were for 2 people, 3 at best. We were then given 2 bowls of meatballs - 4 tiny meatballs in each so one person missed out (?), 2 small bowls of fried potatoes (bowls the size of my palms, yes I am aware this is tapas but there is NO way 2 bowls were enough for 9 people, 1 bowl would have only fed 2-3 of us), ONE random peice of avocado toast with anchovies and 2 small plates of fried squid - each person had one peice. Food was good, nothing was particularly memorable and At $65 per head I left feeling hungry, dissatisfied and majorly ripped off!
Have had far better tapas elsewhere.
I have been coming to Pinchos for years and we came again before going to a movie yesterday (Sunday). I ordered the Jamon which I do everytime but this time was disappointed. Some of meat was dry and tough and the rest was mainly fat. Also the greens in the plate were wilted, a bit sad.
A lovely tapas-style Spanish restaurant. Great for trying and sharing many small plates. The garlic shrimp and jamon ibirco were delicious. The croquettes were good but heavily fried. I would definitely go back.
Do not come here. I had to cancel my reservation, but they would not answer my calls until the day of the reservation. They decided to steal my money just because they couldn't be bothered to answer the phone. Their menu is a complete joke. Worst restaurant ever.
Had a beautiful lunch with accompanying Tempranillo.
Prawns were delicious.
Staff were very friendly, service was prompt.
Great place, well worth a visit.
Called earlier in the week to book a table for my anniversary, gentleman answered the phone and told me don't book just come in, I asked again can we please book just in case and he said no rudely and just come in! Well the next day at 630pm it's packed and a line and guess what! We went to your competitors! Ashame as i was hoping staff would be more onto it! Hope this guy gets retrained
First experience to a Spanish restaurant, and proudly say wasn't disappointed.
Atmosphere was amazing
Food was very flavoursome and so filling. We had 4 share plates together as recommended.we think we should have had only 3.but each to there own. Again wasn't disappointed.
Service was great, very accommodating especially when we changed tables to sit outside. Waiter was very informative, explaining the menu to us as we were newbies, he was funny witty and banter was great.
Can't wait to go back again and try some different plates
