My husband and I got married last week, just a small ceremony - as we wanted. Marcella was our Celebrant and she was absolutely wonderful, she clearly loves what she does and this was clear on the day. She didn't hesitate to make everyone feel comfortable, laugh and have a great time. Plenty of photo opportunities and smiles all around. Absolutely Perfect! The process of organising our little ceremony was effortless. The Perth Marriage Offices provided all the papers beforehand and on the day all I had to do was show up, say "I Do" and marry the love of my life. Our Celebrant Margaret was so friendly and made it a joy. We chose the middle room to host our ceremony with almost 20 guests. The venue was so beautiful and it is all yours for the full 30 min. All of them were really friendly and very easy to deal with. It was a really great place to tie the knot and start your new journey together Mr & Mrs

The Perth Marriage Office made organising a celebrant for our wedding very easy and affordable.
We had the lovely Helen come out to our home for a surprise wedding and she was so organised and fun! Helen made sure to triple check all details before the day and made us feel so comfortable during the ceremony. Highly recommend!

We were married here a week ago and everything went off perfectly. We were very happy with the lovely room and the professional celebrant. Although the time flew by we managed to get everything we wanted done including our own vows, singing, and photos inside. We had a small last minute wedding with 12 guests. I would thoroughly recommend it. Especially if you’re organising everything from abroad, the online application and email instructions worked very well.

Beth was a pleasure to have officiate us and the photographer that we got from the Perth Marriage Office, Chentelle was wonderful. We were so lucky to have these two people. Even though it was a small and short wedding they made the whole event feel extra special and were super professional.

The Perth Marriage Office was the perfect venue for our wedding. It's such a stunning building inside and out, the staff are really helpful, and our celebrant was wonderful and warm. Everything was just so easy!

My husband and I recently got married at old tower house on the 03/03/2023 at 3pm. Absolutely incredible for people that want an intimate, candid ceremony that is based around the couple and their love. Could not fault. We had the large wedding ceremony which is up to 50 people and it certainty fills the room but not in a negative way, makes the ceremony more intimate and personal. Celebrant, although sadly I don’t remember her name, was incredible. Uplifting, professional, Lovley. Service from first appointment when we booked our ceremony and lodged intended marriage form to getting married was absolutely amazing. We recently had our small Wedding Ceremony here of around 20 people, the ceremony and signing the legal documents was short and easy. The celebrant was very helpful and made everyone feel comfortable and everything was on time. We would highly recommend this place to anybody who wants an easy process for marriage.

Amazing! Easy and fuss free, in and out in 10 mins, and our celebrant Steve was great! I would highly recommend Perth Marriage Office for any couple whether they just want to sign the form (like we did), or have an actual ceremony without all the fuss of planning a big ceremony!

Thankyou Andrew for being a great celebrant. It was a casual and intimate affair which is what we wanted. Funny and sensitive too, with God as our witness. We're married and that's the important part of the day.

My partner and I were married on December 29th 2022 in a 3: 30pm time slot.
Our photographer got to the office early to run over a couple of things with the celebrant. For example when we signed the certificate could the celebrant be out of the way, first kiss photo could the celebrant pop out the way etc and she was assured by the celebrant there at the time this was not an issue.

As we walked in however, our experienced celebrant told us on the spot she wouldn’t be marrying us, and instead we were getting a celebrant Anne who had never done a wedding before. Initially we understood everyone has to have a go at some point and even though it sucked to be told last minute we accepted it and moved on. Boy do I wish we had said no.

• Anne was dressed extremely casual (flip flop sandals) the experienced celebrant was dressed professionally in formal attire. The celebrant we got was dressed as though she was heading to do some food shopping.

• She didn’t ask us how our names were pronounced, and during the ceremony on several occasions despite being correct BY US still kept saying it wrong (then laughing about it).

• She started reading the legal stuff, only to realise she forgot half her paperwork, so she had to stop then start the ceremony all over again.

• She kept getting confused about what she was reading off her paperwork despite it being right in from of her, we were back forth between standing and sitting and signing paperwork it was all such a bloody mess.

We were told she was being supervised but the experienced celebrant was barely even present. THANKGOD our photographer could see us getting frustrated at the lack of professionalism and direction and she took charge.

Oh and to top it off she followed none of the photographers instructions so not only did Anne the celebrant ruin our ceremony, her whole body is practically in every ceremony photo for every special moment and can’t be edited out.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

also if you’re going to swap out a new celebrant from an experienced one you should ASK a couple first not just tell them how it’s going to go! We paid FULL price for our ceremony and therefore we deserved a professional service.

We had an amazing experience with Perth Marriage office from start to finish. The admin team and the celebrant were excellent. The room setting was lovely. Paperwork process was very quick. Thank you very much!

From the first time we rang to enquire about options, to the day we actually got married, everyone was fantastic, helpful and lovely. Our celebrant Steve was amazing and made an incredible day even better. Thank you PMO.
