Perth Markets Limited reviews
76Worth going if you are wanting plants, some of the fruit and veg was fresh and a good price. Had a go at having a stall to sell some hand made ceramic pots and plants. Covered costs including a nice freshly cooked lunch from a food stall. Not the place to sell high priced items though. A lot smaller than what it use to be years ago.
You can get decent fruit and Veg here. There is a $1 entry fee. They also have food purchase. And they sell other gadgets like chargers, clothing, aroma therapy oils, doggie treats.
Cheaper than supermarkets.
Market stalls seem to be shrinking. It is at about 60% capacity.
Still worth going for fresh produce at good prices.
My favourite markets are Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne, Salamanca Market in Hobart and Borough Market in London. These markets have lots more things to offer and it's entrance free but one has to pay for entrance in Market City!
Disappointed in the amount of stall holders that were missing this particular day. I'd say 50% were not there yet we still paid full price to get in and no warning. Admittedly it was a 40 degree day which may have put off some stall holders.but there still could have been a warning at the gate to say
So disappointed that the size has decreased but got some bargains and loved getting to go there
Good place for market shopping to find fresh fruit and vegetables and some staff from local farmers, plant and tree growers etc.
One of the best farmer's type markets on a Sunday. Get there early. Great range of pre-loved goods, plants, food stalls, crafts and fresh produce. A huge market place. Well patronaged. You will be amazed.
Great place to walk around and do casual shop for fruit and veg nic nacks for a gold coin donation
Wide range of products. Lots of fruits and veggies. Tools, fruit plants, garments, mobile phone accessories, and food stalls
Sunday market selling fresh produce, cheap clothing, tools, knick knacks and various food stalls. Interesting multi-cultural mix. A fun outing for the family.
Good price for meat, and a lot of varian fish but you have to come early morning to avoid long queuing (better before 6.30)
I love to walk down here, especially in sunday community market.a lot of store including but not limited to fruits, tshirt, sock, books, and even malaysian roti canai.
Saturday Morning Public Fish Market. Be careful of the checkouts! I have been wrongly weighed numerous time by kgs and thus overcharged when going through checkouts. The fish often have cloudy eyes and are no very fresh.
Few Chinese, Indian and kebab shops for lunch and dinner. The market itself has a grocery, meat and seafood section at fairly cheap prices.
Lots of fresh produce, newsagents and if you need anything from the chemist, ask for John and you'll always get great service and advice
