SUZIE'S MAKAN PLACE at Market City

Does not seem to have a listing on Google yet but this is a really good place for true blue original Mamak style food.

So far everything ordered has been good including:

> Roti Pratha/Chenai made to order.
> Dosa Masala made to order
> Mee Goreng Mamak made to order
> Bee Hoon Goreng made to order
> Seafood Kuey Teow made to order
> Ayam Penyet made to order (the sambal will blow your socks off & yet so delicious. Best eaten there)
> Lamb Biryani
> Fish (Mackrell) Biryani
> Chicken Biryani

If you are lucky enough you will drop in on a day where they decide to offer these dishes which are very authentic & cooked old school style from scratch:

# Indian Rojak
# Chinese fruit rojak
# Mee Siam
# Mee Rubus

I drive 45 minutes one way to enjoy the food from this place. They used to be in the Spencer Village Food Court until a few months ago when they sold out and moved here.

Complete enough for products from Indonesia with relatively cheap prices.
The owner and the waiter are Indonesians who are good at Indonesian

Golden Barbecue Seafood Restaurant- I have been going here for many years as it is always consistently decent quality and value for money- the maître can be surly and despite the dessert menu showing 10 choices-there were only 2 available. Parking is really abundant at dinner time. Basic seating and on cold nights don’t sit next to door as the draft is chilly. Seafood is good and Sizzling beef dishes are OK

Its not where I would shop personally because alot of the food is imported from China and other Asian countries.
I prefer to buy Australian produce.

Great place to take the family on a Sunday morning a huge amount of lovely food stalls to choose from and lots of fresh fruits n vegies.

Perths Hub for wholesale fruit and vegies, selling to the public on saturdays and on sundays has the trash and treasure market.

Firstly, the entrance to the market is next to Subway as is the parking. So, if you're navigating here by car, set it to Subway. There is plenty of parking.
To enter the market it costs $2. During special events the fee may be waivered.
The market is an eclectic mix of everything. Ornamental plants, fruit trees, vegetable market, knick-knacks, food stalls (I observed Thai and Malay), secondhand items, bags, clothing.
The space allocated to the market is massive but the market itself barely covers a quarter of the space, I spent approximately twenty to thirty minutes looking around which included stopping to buy food-the Thai good was very good.
I went on a Sunday, it was busy but not shoulder-rubbing crowded.
It's a nice market to visit if you're are some fresh fruit and vegetables or some delicious Asian street food. I would have liked to have seen more vendors because I feel that coming here once was enough for me; there was nothing that encourages me into coming back.

Great area to buy Asian groceries and fresh meat a day vegetables. Good food hall and a couple of good Chinese and Malay restaurants

Worst market all stale old and out of date DO NOT EAT AT THE ASIAN CAFE IF YOU DONT GET FOOD POISONING U WILL GET A BLAND OVER PRICED DISH A PIG WOULDN'T EAT

Had my COVID booster Vax here. Great set up. Staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Booked it online.

The dry mee siam with chicken merah was pretty good. I enjoyed it and i finished my dinner with ice kacang. I had a couple sticks of satays, one beef n the other one chick. I would just go for chick or lamb sataysnext ti.e as the beef was a bjt dry. It was a satisfying dinner overall.

Many choices and many new stocks to buy. Can be very crowded because of what I mentioned, so many things to choose from, basically if you need asian ingredients you'll find them here.

Because of so many items, the place has narrow spaces.
Lots of parking space, again depending what time you go there, parking can be a competition.

But it doesn't stop us going there, every time we are in the vicinity after having lunch, we visit the shop.

Great place to get the COVID Pfizer vaccination. Friendly, efficient and you get a Chuba Chup lollipop after! So cool?

11/12/2021 to here at 7am in the morning, the vehicle entry fee is 4 dollars. Only three greengrocers are open. The fruit is not fresh. Only cauliflower can buy vegetables. A fish shop opens. A butcher shop opens. Fish and meat are cheaper than outside.worth to buy. Would not recommend this place. It's not worth a special trip. Unless you want to make a fish feast

Yummy everything cooked up beautifully. Haven't told Mum yet that the burgers are bush chook

We re-visited after about 12 months. The menu is not as extensive, but the items we chose were more than we could comfortably eat and tasty. We did miss the salad bar.
