Peel Alehouse reviews
75Great place to take kids - our two children were kept amused with playground and activities for the whole 3 1/2 hours we were there. Really nice atmosphere, spacious and clean. Service could not be faulted. Food was delicious and good sized portions, though was a long wait (given the place was at full capacity). Will visit again!
Disgusting. Worst food ever, went here for a birthday and every single person at the table was disappointed with the food. Some of it had to be returned. Grossly overpriced for what it was - I don't know how they are still open.
Good service meals are ok bar staff all good I think the bar should have better menu the beer is the most expensive the dearest in town.
We love what the Halls Head Tavern have done to the place, even very fine ice cold mist that they have in the Beer Garden. They have hidden spray jets around certain areas.
Came back after a long absence and was amazed how good it has become. Great staff, good menu tasty food nice atmosphere will be back many times. Very impressed.
Poor knowledge from so called experienced staff, over price and no compromise to any menu items, will not be back
Great wait staff, a good pub menu, with seniors specials and a full bar.
Meal orders taken from and delivered to your table, while drinks are ordered, paid for and picked up from the bar
Went to the peel ale house yesterday for the Melbourne Cup luncheon, need to put it out there how fantastic everything was and just how awesome the food was. Everything so fresh, tasty and served beautifully in buffet style. Staff there exceptional too, Lyndell is such an asset to there team. Yesterday wouldn’t have been the success it was without her.
Best fish n chips I've had since been down south in 10 months. I ordered child's portion and the fish was so good. Def being going back there xx
Staff great but menu soo stale a fish would reject it.tasting plate shocking -too greasy and not according to the menu.no sour cream for wedges.they run out!
Will have 2 nd thoughts about returning to this venue.
We have been very regular clients but have lost all confidence in this venue
Woolworths -the owners - need to lift their game or loose all of the customers as has happened with other venues
I had the Jambalaya at Peel Ale House and I have to say it was the BEST thing I have tasted in a while.
If you like (a little) spicy and you like risotto type meals, this is 100% the one for you.
I couldn’t fault it at all!
Got there early 7 ish.
Wanted beef cheeks - no such luck on the menu but could deliver - not enough time to cook them!? !
The pork ribs - to die for as well as the coleslaw and criss cross chips.
Happy much, very full!
Very nice and family friendly environment in the restaurant section which is actually separate from the bar section, and this is what I loved about here. With live music and kids zone everyone in the family can have fun.
Excellent food and service for table of 3 today. All meals cooked to perfection, a special mention to lyndall for service over and beyond.
Well done keep up good work!
Vibe was good on a Friday evening with quality live entertainment and space for kids to play albeit small. Quality of food was good.
