Just been thinking about it been down 3yr ago can't wait to get down there again might have to very soon

Awesome campsite with great camp host. Despite the bad weather we caught on our stay it was such a great place. So I could only imagine what it’s like on a good day.we stayed 2 nights!

Beautiful campsite sheltered by the trees. Beach is very close and a small drive from other places like elephant rocks and greens pool. No bookings when we went and paid $20 for one night.

A beaut Aussie camping and caravan park. Unpretentious, well kept by local volunteers. Great beach great location.

Not a very good beach or rocks compared with so many wonderful beaches around Denmark. It does have 4wd access to the beach.

Went to this location the staff member was absolutely disgustingly rude and racist did not even allow us to stay in the over load parking lot and told us that we had to leave asked us why were asking her questions and was just so extremely rude I would never go here again it’s a shame the location is so beautiful but I would never in my life go here again as I’m traumatised by the behaviour for NO ABSOLUTE REASON.

If I could give this place a zero star I would! The staff member who was on today was extremely rude she was absolutely out of order for no reason, we traveled 6 hours to stay there for the weekend but she was completely rude! I would never ever go back there. There are many better places to stay in Denmark do not stay there!

Beautiful and spacious camp grounds with heaps of trees and bush around it, walking distance to the beach, nice facilities. We didn't camp there because it was too full for xmas-new year period, but definitely will try luck again in a more quiet week.

Stayed here in winter and had plenty of room, were only about 5 others campsites in use over the week.
The back half is very well protected from the weather.
Toilet facility's are great, solar showers are mice at the end of the day. There is a fish cleaning station near by too.
Dog friendly on lead with poo bags provided.
Camp fires also allowed but check by season.
Note worthy is 2.75m height max for vehicles!

Fantastic camp hosts, our van was to high to get into the camp area but were able to stay overnight in the overflow. The beach and camp area are very good

The camping ground is great highly recommend this camp.
However our batteries complete dead because of no sun and not wired correctly ran out of power. We asked and got permission from 3 of the caretaker to run our generator to recharge our batteries they said do what you have to do. 3pm when batteries nearly changed. The 4th caretaker approached me and said waving a screwdriver at me said "it must be 5 generator time. I tried to explain but wouldn't listen as he kept thumbing the screwdriver in his hand, he only stopped when husband come around from the other side of camper. He told him we had permission. He didn't apologize he just said must have wires crossed. This volunteer caretaker tried to intimidate me and didn't want to listen to a woman it seems. He needs to be assessed and empathy training or resign. He has no communications skills dealing with the public nor understanding. The 3 caretakers are terrific happy to help. This bad apple needs to be replaced and Demark counsel should be notified. This incident happened 1st April he was testing water pumps at camp.

Arrived on site at very last minute, with no booking, over the Easter weekend, to spend one night only. I was lucky finding a spot as the place was overcrowded, with very little privacy and space overall. I found out the spot was just freed as the previous occupant was complaining about loud music from a group nearby. I was either lucky or too tired to care about that as I didn't hear anything. Only thing, kids screaming from 6am, and the unpleasant feeling of being kicked out at around 7-730am. Toilets were not particularly clean to say so, given the amount of people - this is the reason for the overall rating.

The beach is stunning, but the sites are very close to each other. One can say it's nice to chat with neighbours.

Was a good camping, the people is very nice, just the water was terrible; yellow colour. No possible to recharge nothing.

This is a beautiful campground under the trees out of the wind. Various sizes of campsites from just a car space to some suitable for small vans. Height restriction at 2.7m is designed for your vans saftey so as not to hit overhanging trees. There is a sign on the left hand side of the rd just off the hwy informing you of this. Also any van over about 15ft total length is too big to get around the park. Don't drive in if you don't meet this criteria! Toilet blocks are new and clean but hot water is from a domestic size solar hot water system which will never keep up with the demand of the amount of people wanting a shower! We showered in our van. Fires in a truck rim are allowed on each site. Firewood is for sale at camp hosts cottage.
Staffed by volunteers who just suggest site No.s to fit whatever rig you have and you walk around and choose your site yourself.
$17 per night per site which is great.
No potable water avalable. No power avalable. Generators allowed but only 2hrs in the morning and 2hrs at dusk.
Beautiful white sandy beach that is 4wdriveable. We canoed on the river and lake which is accessible a few ks back along the rd in. Lots of ducks pelicans and a resident sea eagle.

Best camping ground! Close to beach. Clean amenities. Big sites! Lovely hosts! Only downfall (if being VERY picky) is the SPIDERS, we're still finding them everywhere over a week later! (We have a fold out camper trailer). Cant get any big vans in if bigger than 2.75m high.

Awesome campground! Volunteer hosts were so kind and helpful and went above and beyond. Whist we were out high winds and rain hit and we returned to find the camp hosts had tied down and secured our Jayco Eagle Camper. Fires and cheap fire wood available. Clean amenities and beautiful windswept coastline & surf with easy access. Special memories are made here. Thank you!

Peacefully close to beach very clean.close to other beaches lots in the area to explore. Hope they don't change it like shanan basin
