Parry Beach Campsite reviews
44Great place to camp and lovely beaches. Toilets are clean and tidy. Good job to the volunteers that maintain the place. Pity about load music from fellow campers. It spoils the tranquillity of the place.
My favourite camping spot! We had a fantastic time and stayed longer than planned. The Parry ladies are fantastic, the place is beautiful - camping in the forest with heaps of shade right next to a stunning beach. Toilets and showers were very clean. It's run by solar so hot water may run out if you leave it late. Short 20min drive to Denmark town which is charming and had everything we could need. Also really close to other must see places such as the elephant rock and green pools.
Awesome spot, great facilities, and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be coming back!
Great caretakers. Loos and showers are great. Solar shower. Clean and spacious sites. Dog friendly and easy access to the beach to go for a walk or drive. Even better you can have a camp fire
I've been camping at Parry's for over 10 years and never had a problem. The last caretaker 2023 was the rudest most arrogant person I've met. His wife was no better and abused myself and my friends. He should not be allowed to care take when he has soooo many personal issues and takes them out on the campers
Very beautiful campsite, the staff are lovely, lots of cute wildlife in the area! The facilities are well maintained, however please be aware that you will not always get hot water here! Bring backup options for bathing just in case! Additionally, everything runs on bore water, I am unsure/can’t remember if there is a drinking water facility here: ensure you bring fresh water if you don’t want to drink boiled bore water! I’ve been in both Winter (recently) and Summer - definitely busier in summer but honestly, if you have good timing with the weather, winter is perfect, a lot quieter! This campsite gets a 10/10 from me and I will 100% be planning to come back another time:)
Wish I could leave no stars! Caretakers is rude and unprofessional. Been coming here for years and will never come again.
My main issue with this place is the fact it is a Plover nesting habitat, but because it has so many 4wds driving on the sand, they don't really stand a chance.
It is a nice beach though, potentially ruined by the drivers,
It's also a dog beach, which is cool, but because there are a lot of cars it can be daunting.
I probably wouldn't come back, there are better quieter beaches around.
Clean facility, the area’s got good vibes, very nice beach just infront and a warm welcome from the care taker.
Gr8 spot dog friendly Limited camper/caravan areas, though, very close to a lovely beach Solar hot water - so is often lacking heat Clean very tidy and well maintained by excellent friendly volunteers
Certainly recommended
Such a great and cheap campsite! $20 for two of us to stay the night. The caretakers were fantastic and lovely to talk to. Had firewood available to buy and even collected some kindling for us. Facilities were clean and well looked after. Beautiful little beach to spend the evening on. Highly recommend.
Fabulous camp site. For $10 p.p. + $10 for a bag of fire wood, toilets, showers, a walk along the beach.great spot and great value. And the lady at reception couldn't have been more helpful. A stay is recommended.
This place is the absolute best for a holiday with quiet, beautiful shady sites available right on the best beach for walking, driving, swimming and fishing!
Wonderful, cheap campsite with good clean facilities. The caretaker was wonderful. Great views of the ocean and access to the beach. Campsites private surrounded by bush. First class place.
The campground is amazing, great ablutions, however, those with caravan's beware, there is a 2.7m height restriction.
Best campground ever.magic spot. I camped outside busy time.so was perfect.toilets and solar shower. $20a nite
Beach flat drive for miles. Took a look at caravan park but didn't stay, couldn't get in gate. Liked the caretakers house.
Great location under the shady trees. Facilities are fairly old but kept clean. No hot water when we were there because it was cloudy so the solar hadn’t heated up the water.
Perfect little spot absolutely loved it. Still in nature and so close to the beach but with facilities available, perfect balance. Big spread out campsites and close to town.
What a piece of paradise beautiful laid out Park nestled amongst the trees. Not for big caravans but ideal for the smaller pop tops. Tents and similar are accommodated for also. For $20 the amenities are spotless and if your quick you'll get a shower as they are solar heated. Highly recommended for a relaxing time. The fishing is awesome also. Thanks to the caretakers and volunteers for a job well done.
