Onslow Beach Resort reviews
68This place is magical. If your after pure relaxation, such as reading a book, playing cards over a glass of wine, beach walks and shell fossicking, staying here is a must. Beach view rooms, are fully self contained, so it's your home away from home. Will definitely be making this a regular stay!
Came for morning coffee and thought that the staff were friendly and helpful, with very reasonably priced coffee. Coffee itself was a little bitter but on the whole good!
The drink prices are WAY over priced $12 for a pint this is not the gold coast, even there the beer is not that price.
Had the smashed avo for breakfast there.bread was not toasted, avocado was just taken out of the fridge! I don’t know why I spent my money here knowing they’re disappointing most of the time!
Great location. Only had coffee and a snack there but think it will be our go to place next trip.
This is a very nice place with a great location in a town that is a lot nicer than expected. There's a great bar area/restaurant overlooking Beadon Bay with decent prices for the region. Not cheap for your average tourist but most people are in oil and gas and have deep pockets or corporate credit cards. Not bad service. The rooms are large and have a pretty good kitchen and good comfortable beds. Three disappointments. Bathrooms need upgrading. Sofa was vinyl and that's not ideal. And my room had noise from what is the main road. It's only a small town but plenty of noisy trucks and 4WDs. But the pool is cool and deep.
Really friendly staff and good food. Good place to stop in for a bite with a good view of the bay area.
The food and coffee was really good and at a reasonable price.
Seating comfortable.
Great views.
Thankyou to the Restaurant staff. Suryani you're a gem, and all the other girls too. Every plate of food was delicious - thankyou to all the Chefs.
Great accommodation and restaurant. Really clean and tidy. Nice pool. Could not fault anything.
A lovely resort. The only place to stay in Onslow. Nice to stay on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Great breakfast.
Love this spot! Food good as well. Accomodation not too bad especially rooms over looking seawards
Fantastic rooms, with dish washer, clothes washer and dryer.
Very nice bar and restaraunt with great views, but menu was a bit trendy.
Went to the pub down the road for a 20 dollar roast.
Recommended for staying over or short holiday.
Puurrfect, amazing food. Terrific service. Relaxing atmosphere, polite staff.
Chef is spot on with all the food.
Delicious.
Thankyou
I stayed here for 3 weeks for a project here and it's the best place to live in Onslow. The restaurant food here is generally good but the lunch packs menu selection is not recommended. Only issue it had was the outside noise either from the blowing wind or other patrons partying which does not help when you try to get some sleep which points to poor sound proofing at the door.
Loved this place. It's an oasis in a barren land. The meals awesome. I had the beef ribs. Didn't stay long enough. The service is great
If you’re needing to come to Onslow, this place is probably your best option. I’ve rated it 4 star, purely because it’s the best in Onslow but it definitely ain’t 5 star.
Checkin was painless, other than having to go back to reception to get our keys authorised for our rooms. Yes, we checked in at the front desk, receptionist was lovely and friendly, but after making it to our rooms with luggage on tow, no ones keys worked to any of the rooms.
On entering the self contained apartment, first impressions were positive. The place is clean and tidy. There’s a washing machine and dryer in the functional bathroom. The shower is spacious with good water pressure and water temperature that can be adjusted.:)
The bedroom looks great, but the bed is so uncomfortable. The mattress is thin, well used and you feel the single base ensemble’s below. Really uncomfortable.
The kitchen/living area is good. There’s a small dishwasher, oven and microwave along with a good fridge freezer combo that actually works as it should!
There was an aircon unit with no remote in this area. You have to reach up high and manually turn it on, sucks to be you if you’re short!
Power points are in short supply, you have to move the bed, and look under tables to plug your devices in for charging. The power point near the TV didn’t appear to work.
Free wifi in my experience is terrible. Here it was really good and consistent.
Great tasty food. Great menu options. Very generous portions and reasonable prices for the remote area. Great location too, with nice water views while enjoying a cold beer
A pleasant surprise! It had everything we needed even a wadher and dryer! I highly recommend the beef burger as it was the best!
