Old Faithful Bar & BBQ

Came for lunch, beers were a bit expensive and food only came 40mins. We were told there was a long wait, however food came to the table next to ours who came later than we did. Order served also was missing one of the items we had asked for. Staff rectified the situation but it kinda was a bad experience. Hopefully service improves

Cold and uninviting. The food was also cold just like the Freo one, I had hoped for so much more from the original but was sadly left very disappointed. The special Espresso Martini was the worse cocktail ever tasted. Told by bar staff it was made with cold brew coffee and not Espresso, so it wasn't really an Espresso Martini. Over priced and so much better places to go

Relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and drinks. Any place that can make brussels sprouts taste good must have a magician in the kitchen. We had the lamb ribs and chicken wings too. Ribs were mostly fat with only the tiniest strips of meat on it, so not my taste but the wings were fantastic; the batter had a slight crunch to it and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The ranch dipping sauce was a great compliment to the dish too

Great atmosphere and drinks. No bookings so get there early! Look at menu before you go, if you enjoy that type of food you will love it, if not just go for drinks

All the Burgers are amazing! They come with fries! And are incredibly tasty! Lookout for their specials which are good! The fried chicken could be improved though! Very classy place somehow always has Good Music on

Ordered Burgers. Took over 45 mins. Chased up twice. Came out cold.
Complained to manager who queried why we ate the food and I explained that this was our work lunch break.
Said I must be wrong the food had only taken 30 minutes which was incorrect.
Marked our food down 20% using a code "dramaful customer"
Back tracked and was apologetic when we noticed the code
$14-18 a pint for woolworths craft beer

Tried the all star plate to try and taste everything, and I will be back. The pork was beautiful and the ribs were perfect. The range of whiskeys is unbelievable, anyone that likes good bourbon will be right at home here.

The meat was delish! Unfortunately I'm not big on all meals being served on a single tray which requires us to seperate ourselves to plate. Also the menu could use a bit more detail as first timers wouldn't know what was in some of the meals without asking

Pains me to do this, but as I’ve always been a big fan.
However they have lost all reasoning behind their bar prices. Up to $17.59 for a beer, and an unbelievable $14.50 for a stubby sized can of cider, yes, you read that right. $14.50.
Went yesterday and service wasn’t as good as before, but in all fairness food was as good as ever.
But until the owners realise this is not the Ritz in Paris, or the Savoy in London, where you have to swallow stupid alcohol prices then I won’t be back.
So guys, love your food, but know your customers are average fun loving people, not loaded millionaires living on yachts, and get back to reality…I have to write this again, $14.50 for one stubby sized can of cider …. Lol, unreal

Not exactly to my taste, very smokey and very earthy, but a sure fire hit for those who love very high quality meat with that intense smokey flavour. Mac and cheese is a bit of a miss though.

Had an Unfaithful Reuben Sandwich and fries and a side of cornbread. Very tasty. I'm quite a fan of Reuben Sandwiches, so I really enjoyed their take on it using Brisket.

I ordered a Unfaithful Reuben 2.0, could not taste the brisket, too much sauerkraut.
The sandwich looked good but meat was layered in the middle only, poor effort.

Really nice place, their platters are the best and always gratefully surprised by their beer quality!

Fantastic beer selection and food. Warm and cosy feel. A great place to meet up with friends or just to take the kids.

I’ve been to this place a few times over the years. In that time they have added more space and tap beers. I went on a Friday night which was usually busy. It’s a casual dinning place where you have a few beers while waiting for you food and then once you have finished eating most people leave. I suppose most people leave cause although they say have 16 tap selection the prices are high. I was with 8 people and the pints that we where having cost $14-$15. Looking around I saw lots of people mainly eat and then leave. For a place considered bar. I would say they need to lower their price of beer as people just go else where.
Staff where good and friendly. We sat in the alleyway section and ever few minutes staff are looking to help or take orders. You can either setup a tab or pay as you go. Food and drinks came in a good timely manner.
The biggest disappointment was the food. We had 2 burgers. Looked great but one was raw. Not even med rare. I’m not sure how they did this cause the patty are not thick. One was cooked right. Looking around a lot of people got the share meat platter. It is what you expect to get for the price. An assortment of 4 meats and 4 salads. Chicken wings where juice and nice. Brisket was tender and had a smoke ring. Good flavour. Pulled pork and lamb ribs where ok. Overall the meat platter was ok. Not the best and not the worse. The beef short rib was ok as well. Meat season well but like what you get in America. More of a plain salt flavour and some part where a little tough.
The pork ribs where a disaster. They seem to cut all the meat off. It was like meat in between bones. I know it’s ribs but you could have left some meat on the bones and not cut right to the bone. They where very dry and like the beef short rib little flavour. You could tell the pork rib where like 4 days old. One of my friends who loves ribs and eats a lot just left half of them cause they where that bad. I would say it was the worst Ribs I’ve eaten. I would definitely go to either tony roma, meat and wine co or hunter and barrel for ribs.
The food here seems to be good value and a little cheaper then other places but the quality and taste it’s not worth it. You better off paying a few dollars more and getting better quality meat and better flavour. All at the table said they would not go back. Sorry but the quality is not here. Normally I would give a place another go as it might be an off day but not with what was served.

From start to finish this was a great dining experience. We were greeted outside by a friendly gentleman and promptly seated. There were heaps of staff everywhere which made ordering food and drinks easy and quick. We order a platter for 2 for my wife and I, and our 7 year olds eyes lit up when he saw a bucket of bacon on the menu. All meals and drinks are well priced. Highly recommend going here, as a chef myself believe me when I say, this is how a well oiled hospitality machine works. Oustanding experience. Thank you to all the staff.

The best food I have had this year, six times six different meals, this time, lamb ribs with rubbed broccolini lathered in garlic, 10/10 give it a go kids you won't be disappointed, beers ain't bad either. Il be back
