Try ordering LARGE meal. (eg Chicken Katsu Don at $14) You will be surprised by how small it is. I suggest not to order small/regular size. You will probably need to get more food somewhere else.

This was not happening before so feel like the hospitality level has gone down significantly. Sorry but this is my honest opinion.

Fantastic place to come and eat all your favourite Japanese dishes. A huge selection from teriyaki beef to tempura seafood.

You select your main then whatever bento box you prefer. My teriyaki salmon was delicious. The medium serve with rice was quite filling.

My friend ordered teryaki beef in the sushi box. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The beef tender and so tasty. They also have desserts available.

Called to order takeaway on a Sunday arvo. The lady repeated my order (5 sets) so quickly that no one could understand. Upon arrival, she insisted that I ordered one of the sets with the sushi rice box set and would not allow me to amend the order.

The place was full of people but no fan or aircon was on. I was also greeted with the smell of urine as soon as I open the door.

Applecross store is fine however will not return to Myraee's.

Incompetent staff.

I'm not too convinced about the quality, but convenience and friendly staff make up a little for the shortcomings. For some reason you need to ask for the wasabi, as it did not come with the dish, as naturally expected.

No stars. I love Japanese, particularly Yakiniku, after ordering for delivery the below arrives. There is no indication in the menu that rice must be ordered separately for this dish that universally comes with rice. So it arrives, its a tiny portion with no rice - the restaurant are completely unconcerned about fixing it upon calling them. I would not order here again based on no value for money and terrible service. Super disappointing.

Avoid the beef with cashew nuts. The dish, especially the beef itself was tasteless with an awkward texture as if it had just came out from the freezer. The honey chicken was plentifully but had a strip of metallic foil tucked within the dish. The Singaporean noodles seemed great and plentifully too. Overall an ok area to eat but I would be cautious with what you choose to eat. BYO alcohol.

A great place for lunch very reasonably priced, i had the Japanese curry vegetable which was superb.

Hits the fine line between price and quality, friendly enough service; perhaps lacking enthusiasm.

Excellent and well-priced casual Japanese eatery with good portions and tasty food. They offer two sizes (medium and large) to choose from for the donburi and salads. Friendly staff and free green tea on tap too.

Fantastic food and service. I recommend the sushi.

Staff are friendly and fast, even when unsightly middle aged white men start making a scene after a small error. They start to raise their voice but staff are profession (and deserve better treat enemy from such customers).

Order a Kastu chicken with curry. Taste is fine but just feel the quantity of meal is too small. Only have 4 piece of chicken and curry sauce even cannot cover all rice (I guess rice only have half bowl).

So give them four star for food taste and services. If they can make food cost lower would be great

The shop has some funny smell, the furniture was very old. Ordered some lunch box but the seaweed wasn’t fresh. Staff services was good:)

It was good, I finished a whole bowl of Teriyaki Chicken Don but I think their rice was a bit undercooked.

Food is great, service is great, cost is more than reasonable and they will do special orders for the smaller fussy eaters of the family. There is complimentary green tea also. Myaree are also open more hours than the Applecross store (true at the time of this review).

Raw tuna and raw salmon donburi was excellent, takoyaki also was beautiful
, i will be coming back soon.

Great Japanese cuisine. Large selection of meals. Staffs are friendly. Very crowded on the weekend.

The food is good, but the portions are small. The front counter chick is hot though so that makes up for it.

Great service, the Myaree restaurant is very spacious and great for families with little ones and prams. You always know what you get at Ohnamiya, good quality food for a good price.
We love their karage, mixed sushi rice, salmon sashimi, vegetable Udon and kingfish karage!

Alittle dissapointed, ordered the large chicken katsu rice box and only got extra two small pieces of katsu chicken (works out to be $3.30 for two pieces). Not really worth it. Not sure what happen, but thought it would be another piece or two.

Cutlery were not very clean, bits of dried food still stuck on the spoon, some bits of dried rice was in the cutlery holder. Udon soup was way too salty. Salad dressing on rice box was overly familiar, straight out of the bottle from the shop. Disappointing.
