Took the family in for a feed for Saturday lunch, the staff were friendly and the food was quick and fantastic.

Had the Wagyu Steak and was cooked perfectly.

Well done guys, we will be back again soon.

Hi
Good reno
Clean friendly fair price.
A shame so few customers.
May be a long term covd plan is needed.
Not a stop and go plan.
Give them something firm to work to for thr next 12 months.
Thanks

They cooked crab instead of chilli mussels they weren't thinking all night forgot to serve us and seemed more worried about clearing up tables instead of servwho they had in there. Our last visit was totally blown away with food and service, however this time really disappointed with him having the crab instead of the mussels he ordered.

Always been a solid establishment for a drink and a feed, but has recently stepped up another notch with an improved menu, choice of drinks and fit out upgrades, all while staying true to it's core customer.

We had a great meal here. My husband had the lamb shank and it was massive! The freedom ice cream was also massive, and a bit too sweet for my taste unfortunately. Simple would have been better for a desert I feel. It's still developing a "feel", perhaps some subdued lighting? Recommended

I have been a patron of the Odin Tavern for years and eat there regularly. Yesterday I had a steak sandwich and when it arrived to my table the chips were cold and the bottom bun of sandwich was sogging. It appeared to have been sitting in the kitchen for sometime. It was not too their standards.

I took it back and politly informed them of the problem.

I then went back to my table, at no time did the chef, manager or owner approach me. I was not offerred a refund, I got nothing but silence.

I will never enter this tavern again if they treat customers with contempt.

Just had dinner at odin tavern. Lamb shank to be precise. Beyond my imagination it was absolutely the best I have had in some time. And the service was the best. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Unfortunately the food came out cold on cold plates. There were a few of us, so a few meals were sent back.
Once we got hot food the meal was really nice

Has always been a clean friendly tavern.
Build on looks good.
Prices are sneaking up.
May be they will settle back as more people start to go out.

Highly recommend coming here. The Food was fantastic and yummy. The staff are great & very polite. Always have a smile on their face. It’s under new management & they have done a fantastic job to the place. The food prices are great & the servings are decent size. The food is yummy.

A group of ten and nothing was too hard for all the staff. It was a great and enjoyable evening. Fresh tasty food and hot beverages where very well made to finish off the night. Well done, thank you.

New chef's specials on the menu were superb. Staff very friendly. A good local pub slowly getting a refurb. Looking forward to seeing the changes.

Great service, well trained and attentive staff.
I have had dinner at the Odin several times.
On the last occasion The staff member took my order for dinner (Pasta with blue manna crab meat), arranged for my table to watch the football, talked me through their growing selection of whiskeys, brought the food to me, my shot of dimple on ice, and a soft drink as well.
Another staff member also doted over me, brought me coffee and a sticky date pudding and vanilla bean ice cream.
I haven't enjoyed myself going out alone for ages.
Oh yes.
Of course I tipped the staff members handsomely.

Went to the Odin for lunch today (15th May 2021) because we hadn't been there for quite some time.
Sad to say, the old owners are gone, and the new owners obviously operate with total cheapness in mind.
My partner and I had steak sandwiches, because there wasn't much else to choose from. The menu has been "downsized", no more house specials, no premium Fish of the Day - just a glorified Lunch Bar with fried food galore produced from wholesale pre-prepared food, that is on hand in the freezer.
The Turkish buns were inedible, the baker supplying these dreadful things should be tied up and shot at dawn for laying food baits.
The steak type wasn't even listed - it was a cheap cut, beaten and pounded into submission, until it was edible.
The cigarette butts littering the main doorway were a poor impression, but the lack of people in the Tavern was the most noticeable feature.
Normally, most Saturday lunchtimes at the old Odin saw a roaring crowd of 100 to 150 diners. Today, we saw 6 others dining with us.
You used to struggle to find a spot in the carpark under the old owners - today the carpark wasn't even a quarter full.
However, the staff were pleasant, and did their best. It's just that the new owners need to lift their game and provide a vastly better menu, and much better food quality, that doesn't yell, "Cheap, Cheap, Cheap! ".
I know times are tough in the food and entertainment industry, but us diners deserve better, particularly when the Odin now charges $28 for a very ordinary Chicken Parmigiana.
We won't be back until we see a substantial improvement - and it's obvious by the lack of clients, we're not alone with our opinion.

One waitress on a Sat night. Only GF reasonably priced meal on menu had run out at 7pm. Even though the place was 3/4 empty. Over priced menu for the lack of service. Had to leave. Disappointing.
