68Have been going to this restaurant for the last 10 years and it never fails to impress. I love sitting at a table eating great food and watching a beautiful sunset. Definitely recommend this restaurant
Popular for a reason. Well priced traditional fare served in a picturesque location to hordes of nostalgic perthites. Honey king prawns are a treat. Views are sensational - come at sunset. Don't expect cutting edge hipster Asian fusion. A deserved Perth institution.
They moved us to another table which was smaller, very hot and in the corner for another party of 11 people who didn’t have a booking. They made us feel little and not important.
They gave us 1 bottle of water for 11 people, offered us a drink for the inconvenience but then put it on the bill. Burnt one of the people with the sizzling plate and we literally couldn’t even move our elbows. We had been to ocean dragon a number of times and this will be the last.
Visit if you like the Sino-Australian classics like sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, honey prawns, sizzling beef.it’s all good. Full flavour, crunchy, crispy, savoury, sickly goodness. One star off for the worn out chairs and the noticeable level of disrepair of the interior. Also a bit of a missed opportunity during the twilight hours when the sea view was hidden by the drawn shutters. Had it been open I may have missed the interior, admired the food and been romanced by the sunset warmth to a full five stars. Keep delivering the great food.
Ate there last night and was thoroughly impressed. Restaurant was full with plenty of people outside waiting for takeaway or a table. Will return soon.
Ordered 3 dishes from chefs specials and 2 of them tasted the same. Not sure if I'll be back anytime soon.
Good take away and the restaurant is nice too, very big selection of dishes to choose from. But very tasty. Quick waiting time +:)
