Ocean Dragon Chinese Restaurant

We went for the banquet for 2. Pretty reasonable price and the food was delicious. The beef especially was super tender.

Absolutely delicious food, comfortable setting with an ocean view, excellent prices. Our favourite Chinese restaurant and we live south of the river!

We have been coming here for a long time and today's service was disgusting. This person needs to be removed

Tonight I saw the rudest treatment of staff I’ve seen in a while. A middle age man in a fremantle dockers membership shirt ordered half of the store and was fuming it wasn’t ready in the allocated time that they were told it would be. Myself and other onlookers were shocked as he carelessly put down the workers and shamed on them because during an absolute peak busy time they couldn’t make your 15 dishes in 40 minutes for him. Credit to the staff for handling the situation so well. Amazing food and service from here. Sad to see people still thinking the world revolves around them. Cut them some slack and enjoy your amazing meal.

Ordered takeaway through their app and very disappointed, no notifications, no apologies. Couldn’t get through on the phone and when I arrived both people in front of me were also complaining! Food was ok.

Lovely location. Only got takeaway fried rice which had a bucket load of msg. Sorry but it doesn't need it.

We specially travelled here and reserved a window seats partly for the sunset. However, they made mistakes of not arranging and cannot accommodate by shifting the table.

Sat under an air conditioner and food got cold quickly, asked staff to turn it down but didn't happen. Also one dish was ordered but never arrived, despite the waitress reading it back to us.

Do not use the online ordering system. I ordered online on the ocean dragon website but what wasn't evident was that I was ordering for delivery. I live a km away so wanted to pick it up. I immediately rang the Ocean Dragon to chenge the order to pick up but was told I couldn't do that. I them waited for about 40 mins when I got a message to say the order was on its way and expected in about 5 mins. A couple of minutes later I got a message to say the driver had cancelled the order.
I rang the restaurant and was told that the Uber driver wouldn't wait the 5 mins for the food to be finished and he cancelled the order. I told the restaurant person that I would pick it up but she said that wasnt possible. I pointed out that they had breached the contract and I could legally cancel it. I was then told I could pick it up which I did. I still had toay the delivery fee.
I just received another message saying the driver had picked up the order and was on his way. What a stuff up.
Don't order online!

The location is very nice, but it takes a while before u get ur food. I was surprised to see they charge for take away containers.

Always love the food here, only downfall when ordering sweet and sour dishes you only get a quarter cup of sauce that feeds one person's serve not 4

Had an early dinner here tonight. First time here the views are nice. The food was good and well priced. Nice quantities.

So sad that the service is appalling because the food is so good. Last Sunday, first one in for dinner. Entree came out in 15 minutes. Chicken main 40 minutes later. Then 30 minutes after the veggies n fried rice came out. By then the chicken was cold. Waitstaff avoided all attempted contact. Tried again tonight for takeaway, using Door Dash. Over an hour after placing my order the driver calls to tell me the restaurant has told her my order has already been picked up. Then get a notification my order has been canceled.
You couldn't whip up another pineapple fried rice n sent the driver on her way?
Customer service isn't hard xx

Where do we begin, nothing has changed from the first day they’ve opened. Hard working beautiful clean place, five star old fashion service, friendly staff that cannot do enough to please us all every single time! Love you all & the views are forever changing as God sees it on that day. Bless you all & good luck with the baby on the way too.

Awful is the only word, I can use to describe the food. Had soup and 3 dishes. Soup was this artificial coloured, pseudo jelly goop (was supposed to be crab meat and sweet corn) very little crab or sweet corn but full of thickener. In fact every dish was full of some sort of artificial thickener and suspected most of it had been reheated several times before. Lamb should be lamb not artificial "manufactured" polony type meat. Fried rice should be fried not boiled. $90 dollars it cost me, so not cheap it was so bad most of it ended up in the bin. Not sure where it's positive reviews come from if this is what they usually serve.

Great suburban Chinese restaurant. View of the ocean and the ensuing sunset was a fabulous bonus. Had a celebratory dinner for two. Can't fault the friendly service and laid back vibe. Had the banquet option and it was tremendous value with mountains of food. Great place to bring the family or catch up with friends. My only criticism is the limited drinks menu. Not much on offer. However they do allow byo wine.

Mostly good. However, I really enjoy eating San Choi Bow, but Ocean Dragon have decided to trim the lettuce leaves so that you can’t wrap the San Choi Bow as you should be able. So every time we have it, it is very messy to pickup and eat as you normally would. Also that extra bit of lettuce makes a difference in the overall flavor of this dish. So, please don’t trim the lettuce leaves, else I will stop ordering this entrè. It should be wrapped, as it is traditionally! I have asked twice now for them not to do it, but they cannot help themselves and it is very disappointing! I would give a higher rating otherwise.
