Northbridge Chinese Restaurant reviews
58Food was good, however the service that we received was appalling. Upon arrival we were shoved at a table were we waited 30-40 minutes for them to take our order even after asking multiple times and different waitresses to take our order. Once we finally had our order taken it took another half hour to recieve the food which we then didnt recieve one of our dishes. Upon paying the cost of the food was more than what was written on the menu and the staff were rude and un-inviting. Overall bad experience.
Came for dinner with the whole family. Service was quick and efficient. Most of all the food was delicious and a hit with the whole family members. We had sizzling Japanese tofu, stir fry beef, seafood claypot with tofu, chicken fried noodle, roast duck and spinach with two kind of eggs. Will definitely be back again.
Good food n good price. Only the parking problems n traffic jammed due to the road reconstruction
Yummy food. Was a bit pricey for dim sum. Could've had more trolleys coming around but overall would recommend.
Don’t visit when Chinese New Year. Food and service were not good enough and only could order the combo food which they selected.
The service here is terrible and its cramped as hell in there. Food was average, nothing spectacular.
Good food. Had salted York prawns, special tofu and sweet and sour pork. Must say the sweet and sour pork is HK standard, very yummy.
Too numerous to mention - the ambience; the joy; the service; the pristine clean plates. A signature favourite for me, Special Chicken. The combination seafood and brocolli makes your mouth water, just looking at it. Steamed barramundi. Happy Chinese New Year of the Tiger.
This place always cause of a dillema for myself. On one side the food is good, restaurant setup is good and the location is strategic. On the other side the service is, in my opinion, appalling. We always struggle to get the attention of the wait staffs. When we do get their attention, we feel that it always seem to be a bother for them when we ask something. Communicating also seem to be a problem as the majority of them don't have the basic command of english. A couple of time we were over charged (once by more than $50) and on both occassions when we initially pointed this out the manager/owner was really snappy but they did comply to correct it. If you are on business expense please be mindful that no tax invoice is provided and the order is all written in chinese on a hand written docket. The last straw for me when the manager/owner literilly pushed me towards the door as she's trying to rush pass me while I was queing to exit the reataurant. After dining here for years for either dim sum or dinners I think last week's visit will be our last visit. I wish this restaurant all the best and hope you can improve your service for future patrons.
This is our favorite dim sum restaruant in Perth The foods are delicious, location is handy, decoration is bright, and space is very big too. Our favorite is Durian Mucha, but we are quite satisfied with all other dishes it serves too. Yes, I agree with some people's opinions that the service is not the best: a bit pushing and a bit impolite. Actually it is an attitude which you also can encounter occassionally in China today. As a Chinese-Australian born in and lived in China for forty years (but a northerner not a Cantonese), I sort of can undetstand and accept it. So. I have no problem with their serve at all and will keep going the next time
Went to Northbridge Chinese Restaurant- 六福 for Dim Sum today. Food was delicious. Disappointment was they charge 1.5% for using Credit Cards. Hence I paid cash BUT when I requested for a Receipt, they just used the same piece of paper that manually recorded the dishes being ordered as a RECEIPT & gave it to me after they put a bullet stamp on it. There was NO input of cash intake to a cash register of any sort. Appalling & TAX AVOIDANCE definitely.
My family and have been coming here since my kids were very young.
They have their own families now and still go back.
Best place for Dim Sum
So close to home! I'm not sure why we didnt visit before now. Delicious food, very reasonably priced. Quick and friendly service.
I’ve been going here for years and it’s always great.would recommend the durian mochi and gai lan
Poor Service. Rude Staff. Average Food. Sadly, the standards of this restaurant has declined over the years.
The black pepper beef was the highlight of the night, delicious fried rice too, nicely marinated prawn and the vegetable with two eggs was alright. The food was awesome, even the service wasn't the best. We barely can communicate with the waitress to order the food but gladly she can understand us by pointing at the picture. Will be back for the food.
Delicious food, almost no waiting times, very friendly and helpful staff + a very nice decor. Have eaten here for 3 years and definitely will continue!
Have been coming here for over a decade for our "dim sum" fix and Chinese New Year banquet. Often a big que unless you know best times to go. LOL
Food was bland, service was less than mediocre, and everything seemed to be very unorganised. Definitely would not recommend.
I I'll never go to this restaurant again. The service is the worst. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait for table, but the old lady (waitress) arranged the guests after us first. This old lady even yelling at us when we ordered, which was so rude. I ordered bbq pork buns and tooks them away. When I was home, I found that they weren't bbq pork buns at all. They were stuffed with chicken meat and ginger.
