Nine Japanese Bistro

This place was great, and would really recommend it to others. Food was super tasty, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere for couples dining was perfect.

We went as a group of 6. Ordered the 7 course set menu and BYO’d wines likely to pair and some Japanese beer (Asahi). The food was terrific, spacing between courses was perfect and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommend it. We’ll be back. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Nine Fine Food. Had the Osusume and everything on our plate was so good - we could not fault anything at all.

The portions were quite generous and we were left with very happy, satisfied tummy after our 4-course meal. Our favourite was the duck ramen pasta we had for our entrees, and I loved their tuna salad (it was on their special menu).

The staffs were very lovely and service was impeccable! We cannot wait to return.

Dishes honestly were a bit hit and miss. Bf and I ordered the 4 course, half of the dishes were absolutely delicious (sashimi, lamb ribs, steak - all were terrific and perfectly executed) and the other half were a miss for us by either too salty, odd ingredient / flavor combinations or textural issues (for example, we don't recommend the agedeshi tofu because the skin is gooey, beef tataki could be sliced thinner or duck confit very salty).

Wanted to give a higher rating but maybe next time. I can see there are many positive reviews on this restaurant so maybe it was just a once off day.

Exceptional meal at a very affordable price. All the food was well balanced and had exquisite taste.
