Nando's Hillarys

So sad to hear that it was cashier Jades last shift tonight. I’ve seen her face here for years and she always provides the best service. I hope the next generation is just as good as she was. Best of luck with your new career Jade!

Nando’s Hillarys is far better than others. The service was good. The food was good and hot with full flavours. Generous and helpful staff.

We have started going there every 3rd Thursday and haven’t had a bad night yet, glengarry one was closer but it has gone down hill big time. We would highly recommend this Nando’s at hillaries

I was there tonight on Valentine’s Day and I’ve gotta say even though the wait for my halloumi wrap was an hour long, the customer service the girl handling the orders behind the counter had was just exceptional. Not only did she sincerely apologise every time I asked roughly how long my food would be, but she also offered for me to have chips whilst I was waiting and gave me a fresh drink when I finally got my food. Amazing! Will definitely return.

Ordered a whole peri peri chicken and waited for more than 30 mins. Asked the counter about my order and they said they run out off chicken.

Thought I'd go here to compare to Nandos UK and I can confidently say the UK one is miles better. Whole restaurant and outdoor seating area was filthy, asked the staff to clean it so we could sit down. Had to ask twice as they didn't do a good job and ended up asking for the cleaning spray and tissue so we could do it ourselves. None of the staff smiled about anything and it seemed like asking them for anything was a chore. Food quality was really poor. The spicy rice was completely bland and the chicken looked like it was cooked on the grill, put on a plate and sauce drizzled on top. Never seen it like that. Will definitely not be going back to Nandos in Australia

Visited on a Friday night. Not super busy, but over 30 min wait for our meal. The salad was great. Also ordered kids render meal and not sure 3 tenders is meant to be that small. Looked like 1 tender cut into (3) 5cm pieces

Wonderful experience yesterday at Nandos Hillarys. Great food and wonderful service by the staff.
They brought out our decorated cake to celebrate my partner's bd and also gifted him a free sauce with all smiles.

Wonderful night out. Will definitely be back xx

Worst nandos ever been restraunt closes at 9: 30 on friday which is today and they are cleaning walls at 8: 30 focused on closing instead of serving waited for 45 min just for ordeer when we ask they say oh sorry another 10 mins seriously nandos hillarys not worth going at all

Was the best ever.i came here while high and it was a spiritual experience. I nearly creamed in my mouth. 10/10 service

Got a double cheese and bacon burger, the bacon was so over cooked it was like jerky, the bun was stale, not even toasted or buttered or anything. Certainly not worth $13.95 probably a $5 or $6 burger at best.

Opened first thing in the morning and they didn’t have chicken thigh pieces, didn’t have riblets, basically tenders or whole roast chicken that’s it. Very poor nandos restaurant.

Ordered via the app so first interaction was with the guy at the collection point. First impressions count and this guy was super friendly, polite and following COVID rules. Nice to look around seeing all staff wearing masks and keeping the place clean.
Food was great.
Overall a shining example for Nando’s

Nice place to chill out in the evening. Have an indoor waterpool kind of play area for children and lot of weekend activities to explore.

I ordered a burger from there last night, a meal I have order from a range of other Nandos and have loved. This burger group.though was comfortably the worst I have ever had. There was no saving grace for it. The bread was terrible and stale, the chicken was grossly undercooked, the sauce was only placed on one side, the lettuce still had dirt in it. Overall, a really poor experience. I strongly suggest if you go to Hillary's, go any where else but here. What a waste of money.

Ordered via Menulog - tried to contact the restaurant when the food hadn't arrived 20mins after the expected time. No answer after being on hold for 10mins, eventually was told by Menulog that we would be refunded after they too were unable to get hold of them.

Unfortunately not really gluten free options, for sure the chicken is but as sides only meat too, didn’t eat there

Very disappointed. The chicken was completely burnt; the skin was all black. I was going to give it to my daughter, but it's not even edible. How could you even give this to your customers? If it looked like that, you should've thrown it straight into the rubbish.

I was given an incorrect order on Saturday night and when I realised I went back and the girl managing the store did a very good job in fixing everything despite it being so busy!

Disappointed. I came here with my vegetarian sister. She ordered a Plant Chicken halloumi burger, as well as a chocolate mousse. We sat down, and about 5-10 minutes later our food arrived. We both looked at her burger, and thought the patty looked very chicken-like. Neither of us had seen it before, and thought it looked quite interesting since it looked so real.
She took a few bites and was convinced it couldn’t be the fake chicken. Not long after the staff member came back, and told us it was indeed real chicken, and took it back to the kitchen. My sister was distraught. She was soon in tears and ran to the bathroom to throw up. They gave her a refund, and a new burger, however it’s 30 minutes on and she’s still in emotional distress.
I understand that these mistakes happen sometimes, and I appreciate the refund and apology, however I hoped there would be better processes in place to prevent things like this happening. We won’t be going to this Nandos, or any in fact, for a very long time.
