Nambung Station Stay reviews
27 Where is the 10 out of 5 button. Just superb. Manager Noel and Sue couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. Owner Brian just delightful.
Station tour full of surprises, a viee of pinnacles without the hordes. Camping great. Facilities great, new and clean.
There's a graded dirt road to get there, but if you take it steady then a van should be fine. The views of the stars at night were incredible. There was a blackout the night that we stayed, so no hot water in the morning. Camp fire atmosphere was nice.
There is 13km of unsealed road to cover in order to reach the station. A standard 2WD vehicle is fine on this road. The way to Nambung Station is clearly signposted and the gravel road is well maintained.
At the station you will find excellent facilities including toilets, showers, camp kitchen as well as powered sites and unpowered campsites. If you're looking for somewhere to camp out of the wind: there is a wind break that provides some protection (but this won't always be enough depending on your tent and how bad the wind is). There is no shade if you're camping and the wind can get very strong.
There's well appointed caravans for hire that have added extentions that will easily accommodate families. All facilities are well maintained and clean.
In terms of activities: there's animal feeding for the kids and a station tour. If you're in to photography: there's a decent amount of things to shoot including an amazing and unpolluted night sky.
Thanks and her husband for Jo and her husband for accommodating me and my young family at short notice when our other accommodation plans fell over.literally. You saved us a long and miserable drive back to Perth.
Awesome quiet place to stay, beautiful views, everything is kept clean & tidy, farm tour a must, a gem of a place
A great camping experience at the farm. Our family were enjoying to stay there for 2 nights at the powered site. Kids were feeding the animals. Communal Campfire near the kitchen. The kitchen setup is simple with fridge, bbq store, cold and hot water sink, table anf chairs. Flash toilet and separate shower rooms. Farm manager is very friendly.
Best place, Sonia is so welcoming and interactive. We loved our stay and will most definitely be back as regulars.
Nice little farm stay with basic facilities for camping and on site caravans for hire. Powered sites and a wind break for tents are available. Enclosed camp kitchen with gas BBQ and fridge, clean toilets and hot showers.
The caretakers are really friendly, there's animals to pet and it wasn't overrun, even during peak period over Christmas.
