Had an awesome buttermilk chicken burger here today after completing the Golden Valley Loop. Beautifully cooked chicken, great chips and excellent service.

Building is a little old and run down but has a lot of character. Food was amazing at a good price. Beautiful setting with many different friendly birds amongst the trees.

Very nice. The young lady who served us was eXcellent. A credit to management.

Winters here, but the pub has open fires, pop in for a feed or just grab a drink with friends but keep an eye out because theres always something going on if you know to look.

Love the atmosphere in this old pub! Only stopped for coffee and cake this time. Coffee nice, muffin dry and obviously been frozen. Still enjoyed it though!

Love it, very classic old style hotel. The food was fantastic and big dishes. The service was lovely.

Well I'm sorry but after all my reviews this will be the first negative one. I paid $36 for a small piece of steak which was overcooked, mashed potato and broccoli. What made it worse was my wife had the same, her steak was smaller and tough as so I was not impressed by size or quantity. Sorry MWH Staff

Beautiful old hotel, awesome little Cafe.
We had the steak, perfectly cooked, sauce was complimentary to the porterhouse and broccolini. Worth the drive and will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here, the atmosphere is so great. The service and hospitality of the staff is awesome. If your looking to go stay at a place with good vibes and space where you can really relax and enjoy yourself with friends and family. This is the place for you.

One of our favorite spots in Perth on a Sunday afternoon. Great food, good selection of beer great atmosphere which a lot of places miss these days.

Nice place to chill for a Sunday afternoon. The steak sandwich was good although I feel they could have used a smaller steak and thrown a few chips into the deal instead - paying $17 for a steak sandwich and $5 for chips is a bit expensive and ends up being too much food. Beer on tap was good, ~$10.30 for a pint seemed like a bit much. Otherwise, friendly enough place to sit outside in good weather

Reasonable, I didn't ask for my meat to be well done, it was too rare, disappointed, my other had hers well done and she didn't ask either. I believe if I had gone back to the grill they would have cooked it some more, staff was friendly drinks are cheap, live entertainment in the garden and an amphitheater this place is fantastic, food is ok not sensational, yet very imaginative food. Except the chips the chips were the most amazing chips I have ever had in my life, the chips are amazing amazing. Don't go for the food go for the place and the cheap drinks, oh and the fantastic chips. Oh this place is doggo friendly they must be on leash and attended to at all times. Wonderful place.
You might want to bring some forks.
