Mundaring Weir Hotel reviews
54Great venue with loads of potential but seriously in need of a revamp and perhaps a bit more frequent cleaning. Glasses are always grubby and beer gas can be hit and miss.
Very friendly staff, good pub food, nice relaxed atmosphere, perfect all year round. Lots of history, just go and check out the ballroom.
What a great place.
A beautiful old pub with great old fashioned service.
Plenty of shade to sit outside and enjoy the breeze on a hot day.
Dropped into the hotel for lunch today, the meal was great, the drinks were cold and the service was outstanding.
Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Unfortunately I went here today with a large group and they are already pushing the double Vax mandate im booked in but unable to get it yet so had to leave.
Great little pub on the outskirts of Perth. Up in the hills. A nice drive through the bush if you come from Mundaring or from Kalamunda. I stopped in for a cider. Plenty of parking for both cars as well as motorbikes. Theres history all around here from the pub to the dam itself a short walk away. Theres usually a band playing every Sunday too.
The place is so pretty and clearly loved by its owner. Who is an old school publican/hospitality expert.
I loved the time we spent there. Very cute spot with tranquil surroundings.
The food was good honest Aussie grub with a good selection of beers.
The rooms were clean tidy and well kept.
Thank you Jens for a lovely and welcoming stay.
Heaven in the hills. Serene, peaceful, great food and staff are lovely.
Food is delicious and well priced. Atmosphere is so relaxed. We sat under the cool beer garden vines. Listening to The Bush Band. Amazing
We stopped here after visiting the Weir for a coffee had live music playing lots of shady places to sit and a Cafe very nice to just chill
For what it is - a BEAUTIFUL old Pub; a visit to yesteryear, this hotel is really worth a visit.
We spent a Saturday night and enjoyed 2 basic but tasty meals at a very reasonable price. The bonus was a wide array of seating choices for meals with views over trees and the court, lovely old, well maintained banquet rooms to wander, and an easy stroll through the gardens to the Mundaring Weir.
At the moment the only night the restaurant is open is Saturday but meals can be preordered to eat at your room if you are staying overnight. Also open Sunday and generally a band and grub from Sunday 1pm.
Thank you for a beautiful time.
Great old character pub, interesting history and plenty of interesting spaces worth exploring. Great range and quality of food, and of course beverages.
Make sure you make your way down the stairs inside the hotel to see the many different levels and areas inside, then explore all the garden areas
Great place. We were a group of 10 celebrating a family birthday overnight and can’t speak highly enough of the venue and staff. A bit of a mixup with our booking but soon resolved and we found our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a table close to our rooms and the playground which was great for the kids. Our meals were great and the staff were all delightful and helpful and especially accommodating with the little ones. A beautiful old building with lots to intrigue as all. Highly recommended.
Good pub grub, plenty of outdoor undercover seating available. Nice stop for a meal and drink if you're in the area
Great location! Plenty of seating indoors and out, upstairs, downstairs, live music on weekends, top notch food, great place for kids too!
Excellent service from some very lovely staff. Food portions were generous and delicious. Building is a little run down in places, but I think that adds to it’s shabby-chic charm.
Meals were good but the drink service was extremely slow nice surrounds good area for kids needed more staff to handle the patrons
Nice country hotel, go grab beer or some food, have a look at the weir and a few other things, live music, all good
Great atmosphere. Awesome service and excellent meals. Will definitely do the lamb roast on Sundays again
Beautiful hotel with music on weekends, beautiful surroundings. Only disappointment was the food. Each time we visited their pizzas were sold out which seems to be the best on the menu. Unfortunately not value for money as all other food was presented very well but not tasteful at all.
The manager looked after 17 of us organised seating on balcony overlooking concert area with lovely trees behind the food was excellent I had beef Burger and chips best I've had especially the chips birds were quite active and tame around the balcony the pasta dish looked delicious as did the prawn dish good kitchen
