Monsterella Pizza reviews
77Best pizza in Perth hands down! Great vibe, amazing food and the best service! Takeaway always a winner too!
Pizza was good but a the dough was a little dense. We had Milliano and flavors were nice apart from the (not so) caramelized onion. Carbonara parpadelle was unfortunately a let down. Pasta not very well cooked, too eggy, not creamy and missing Parmesan.
Service was casual, friendly and efficient.
Anyone not giving this place 5 stars is an absolute spanner of the highest order. The best pizza in Perth hands down. Plus it’s BYO so what’s not to love
Booked (easily) online…
Was greeted on arrival and felt to be special - all was in place (water - menu’s)
Ordered and food was very quick to come out - and was superb…
Well worth the visit:)
Beware if you are wearing hearing aids.very loud music. Early opening 4.30 but closes at 9. Great food.
CIAO AMORE The most perfect plate of hand cut truffle carbonara. Possibly the best pasta l've ever had, Italy included. A loved local fave, have you tried this moorish wonder? ! I have several times!
Pizzas are superb too! I’ve had them dine in and takeaway, delivery options are also available. Only downside is that EVERYONE loves this place so bookings are essential. Call early for your pizza pickups or delivery, you’ll be so glad you did. They do not disappoint!
Loved the place and pizzas! We have the truffle cheese one and buffalina pizza! Blew our minds!
Pizza to die for, amongst other great Italian fare. Can be busy, but that adds to the atmosphere of families, couples, and large groups all marvelling at the food. Not licenced but water soft drinks etc avail, bottle shop close, like next door!
I got the carbonara takeaway. It is super tasty, but paying $30 for a meal where I am still starving at the end because the size is so small, is not acceptable.
Delicious wood fired pizzas.
Dough was delicious and we tried a couple of pizzas
Bustling atmosphere and limited space - you must book.
Would recommend
First visit for our family at Monstetella.
Great tasting food and even better service. You will not be disappointed.
The pizzas are usually good but quality has dwindled, largely due to the service staff; orders have been incorrect and pizzas have arrived cold. The phone system for ordering is archaic and should be an online system. It ruins an evening!
Amazing place, I’ve been there twice and the quality of the food is so stunning! Definitely I’d go more time in the future!
2 stars for the atmosphere and 5 starts for the pizza. The pizza and tiramisu were absolutely delicious and came out quick. However I think the atmosphere definitely dampened the experience. We were seated by a staff member who already looked like they were doing 10 different jobs. The music was sooooo loud (which I’ve noticed other reviews have mentioned) I have a hearing aid however I was sitting with someone who wasn’t hard of hearing and we equally had so much trouble hearing each other over the music. I think a main part of going to dinner with someone is having good conversation but we really struggled with the noise. 1hr and 15mins also felt really short for a booking and I understand they need to seat so many people per night but it all feels so rushed.
We had an amazing meals, pizza base and pizza sauce was just so delicious. Very generous with the amount of ingredients on the pizza.
Reminded us of restaurants in Italy, same quality of food.
Service was quick and attentive.
Highly recommend! We definitely will come again and again!
Thank you guys!
This is high quality, wood fired oven pizza. I ordered 9 pizzas to takeaway at 4: 50pm. I was walking out the door at 5: 03pm! All ingredients are quality. Keep up the great work Monsterella: your love for good pizza shines.
Monsterella. Often recommended.
And for good reason. Pizza is reliable, wood fired and tasty. And their pasta. Home-made and under-rated. Al dente and loved by all.
So why the three stars? They're a victim of their own success.
Monsterella is busy. Often booked out week (s) in advance for popular evenings. Seatings even on weekdays are time limited. Which wouldn't normally be a problem if their wait staff weren't so stretched that they cannot maintain a well timed service. To the point where a 90 minute seating isn't enough for them to serve lamb skewers, pasta, pizza and dessert.
Two staff indoors. One floating outdoors. Constantly running between tables. Visibly under the pump. Surely, Monsterella is doing well enough they can afford to put another member of wait staff on.
We enjoy a leisurely dinner. We don't mind a short dinner. But it's not good enough if there are lengthy waits through no fault of your own ; and by the time you have to get up and ask to order dessert, there is <15 minutes left.
A quick scan of the review (s) shows I'm not the only one. The wait staff just weren't smiling today.
Shame too being a special occasion.
This place used to have a happy vibe. Unfortunately, as much as we used to love cozying up outside with the blankets in Winter, Monsterella no longer makes the Recommended list.
Amazing vibes tonight for dinner, great service and the food was brought out in a great time. Plus the pasta (carbonara) and pizza were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.
Over 20 mins on the phone for a takeaway at 6: 00 on a Saturday.
Hung up in the end
Don’t bother….
Ordered one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever eaten! The Al *chefs kiss*
A bit of a wait to get through on the phone but absolutely 100% worth it. Thanks so much
