Amazing coffee! Sampled flat whit, piccolo and filters. They’re we’re all on point. If you’re a local you don’t know how lucky you are. If you’re a traveler “like me” and have a love for coffee this place is a must.

Such a good vibe here in a little space with genuine down to earth service which gives the place an intimate feel and happy buzz.
A great coffee too of course, using happy happy soy boy (good stuff for plant milk users). Keep up the great work guys!

In my opinion, best coffee in Perth and such a sweet little grounded spot to visit. Always a yummy treat on offer to accompany your cup.

Modus is such a nice little café in a side street from Beaufort Street, that delivers the best coffee and a few food options that are incredibly good! We often take away coffee and food for the road. They also sell nice take-away cups, and a selection of coffee grains.

A welcoming place, passionate about sharing different coffees with the community. Try the beans they've roasted or support featured roasters offering awesome coffee for people to try instore and brew at home.

Can someone say "Best Coffee In Perth.maybe! "? Bold statement I know but if the shoe fits why not try em on and throw some ninja kicks to the sky. I chuck that maybe in there out of fairness for some other solid candidates around town but honestly Modus may be the cake taker.

As far as coffee goes you're guaranteed the option of at least 2 batch brews at any given time and often 3. All of which regularly rotate from roasters all around Australia and their own house Modus blend that is roasted not far away. My taste doesn't wander far from the batch but I can also vouch for a mean soy latte that they sling out. Having recently converted to the Happy Happy Soy Boy, this stuff is so silky smooth and full bodied you'll wonder why we ever crowned Bonsoy the king of the castle.

Modern specialty coffee, oh how I've missed you! Rotating roasters featured on not one but three batch brews and a Columbian on for the house spro. I had a Ethiopian from Tim Wendleboe that was fruity and floral

At first you’re wondering why your iced latte is coming in a brown bottle, then you’re having a spiritual experience with a coffee and wondering where your pants have gone. No one warned me how good this place would be. My card wouldn’t work and Toby let me pay for my coffees later which is just a beautiful wholesome act which only a lovely small business can provide. Can’t recommend enough

The best new coffee gang in town. The coffee is tasty AS F and is always consistent. The gang remember your order and have great cafe style food options they lovingly make in-house.

Toby and Sam know coffee. They know good conversation. And they know a decent lunch baguette. Keep it up lads!

Great coffee and tasty bites. Toby & Sam and their team are really passionate and knowledgeable about their product and super friendly too. It's my morning go to and a super quick pop in if you're a filtered coffee drinker.

Love the coffee, just wish the iced latte wasn't in a beer bottle - made it a little weird to walk around the park with.

Excellent quality coffee and food, the Ruben is perfected! Coffee is always spot on and constantly changing, the batch brews never fail and espressos are amazing. Sam and Toby are always the friendliest guys, and always give great service and conversation.

There is a limited selection of visually appealing grab and go food.

We visited on a cold wet day, meaning an inside stay, which highlighted the restricted space inside and the high noise levels from the coffee grinders with the doors closed.

There are just 6 seats inside. 2x3 stools either side of the entrance.

I'd suggest visiting in good weather so you can sit outside or takeaway.

Amazing specialty coffee. I came here on a recommendation, and was blown away by the friendly and knowledgeable service (thanks Toby!), and the the great range of delicious single Os to choose from. We had a filter, espresso and milk based, and it was all on point. Definitely come here if you enjoy coffee from passionate baristas that know what they’re doing!

The coffee I ordered (soy) had solidified soy milk glob in 3/4 of the cup. Not the best experience

I couldn't recommend this place more to anyone who enjoys their coffee. Sam & Toby & staff are so welcoming and friendly, and make the best coffee in Perth. Definitely worth a visit:)

Best coffee and best baristas in Perth. What more do you need? Coffee is 10/10, and Toby and Sam are the nicest dudes on the planet. The food is also amazing, would recommend making this place your new local joint!
