Modus Coffee reviews
42These folks rescued me from a potentially very awkward bread-related predicament this morning! Legends! (and the croissant they sold me was amazing!)
Very helpful staff. Guided us on what to eat and what the ingredients were and very welcoming as well about it. After a frustrating day of not finding anywhere to eat, the staff were one of the most helpful and useful people I have ever come across at a cafe which is pretty huge seeing as I have been quite obsessed with cafe dining.:)
Everyone who works there is lovely and helpful, they don't mind if you're indecisive:) love the coffee and food!
Very rude staff. No customers in the store. We sat on the benches outside the store waiting for our lunch from a venue nearby (they had no spare seats) and were asked not to sit on their chairs.
Good quality speciality coffee but disappointingly they still do not offer lactose free cow's milk (just other alternatives like soy, almond, oat). Food is very tasty but be prepared to pay "trendy cafe" prices for it!
Worst service, waiters are rude waited 30 mins to warm up a potato and bacon pastry. I wish I can give negative star rating. Not recommended
1st visit - gone off milk, was eventually replaced.
2nd visit half full coffee - very annoyed i asked for it to be topped up, rude and no apology.
Great tasting coffee and popular place especially on weekends. Unfortunately they don't do Lactose free milk even though most places do now, so I had a coffee with oat milk. Area out the front of the cafe where you can sit down and enjoy your coffee, sandwich or cookie/ cake. Not a huge selection of food
Good coffee but the two times I have been there the staff haven't been friendly. Just my experience
The best cafe in Perth. Staff are a friendly, talented crew. Nothing better than a batch brew and a Ruben sandwich to start a morning.
Eggs on the menu every exotic way except scrambled. Refused to do scrambled eggs. Part of the menu is in French instead of English (to make it sound exquisite maybe!) Not everyone wants to take photos of food and post it on Instagram. Wake up Perth. Have your exotic menu but at least include the Aussie staples. Or watch people walk.
Lovely bright space on albany Highway. Love the drinkware. The coffees were alright, staff’s smiles were the plus.
I’ve grabbed a coffee from here before because it’s convenient, never been super impressed but it does the job. This morning I swung by, probably more than mildly hungover after a few too many wines last night, in need of coffee and sugar. My flat white was super weak and the banana bread was so stale (despite being toasted - very lightly.) that it is literally inedible. Even in my current state I can’t do it. So sad. Not at all recommended.
Modus is my go-to, my love of my life coffee joint. The brekky burgers and Ruebens are to die for and the filter coffee is always super tasty.
My absolute favourite coffee shop in all of perth.perfect brews every time, amazing bottled coffee, and the food, oh the food. Just the best.thank you so much to all the amazing people there who make it so
Almond milk is terrible. Switch to milk lab instead of the cheap supermarket stuff. Tasted like a coffee from dome.
Absolutely delicious coffee. The flat white I had was so smoothies and gentle in my mouth. The owner was super friendly and welcoming too! The outdoor seating area is so comfortable to sit in.
Five stars of course. The best dose in town. Always very friendly as well. Definitely my favourite cafe. But beyond this, there are some great foodstuffs and specials that are well worth your time.
This has got to be my favourite place to get coffee, and they conveniently open just as I drive past on my way to work.
Staff are great, sandwiches are the bomb, the coffee never dissapoints.
