Mister Walker Restaurant

While walking around in the cool night air taking pictures, my partner and I decided to have something to eat in the nearby restaurant. Being out among the elements, we were dressed in clothes that would keep the cold from our bones.

Apparently Mr. Walker felt that due to our appearance, we were undeserving of eating at one of the many available tables indoors. Being immediately judged and looked down upon before you have even sat down is not a pleasant experience at all.

Mr. Walker, all of our money is the same colour and it buys all the same stuff. Next time you should perhaps be a little more humble and remember that because someone is dressed in outdoor clothing, it does not mean that they should be made to eat outdoors.

Beautiful casual venue on the water in South Perth. Ferry from Elizabeth Quay pulls upright outside. Share platters are big enough for 4 if you add a salad. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed our afternoon overlooking the Swan River and ticking into the Butchers Platter which was more than enough for two.

Service was great.
We just walked in for breakfast, the restaurant was packed, but they found us a table. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Asked for pork dish and was told that they ran out of pork right in the middle of lunch time.then ordered lamb dish and the portion size was way too small and the lamb was horrible and it didn’t taste like lamb at all. Tasted like preserved meat. Not recommended at all.

Love everything from the walk to the restaurant, to the beautiful waterfront views at any time of day, and the delicious menu. Choice of outdoor and indoor tables. Lots of parking nearby. Unique menu items on offer, and the menu changes frequently. Tried a very interesting Indian fusion breakfast today, with paratha!

Great views over the Swan River. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service and food were great. Took my elderly mother there for lunch and everyone treated her so respectfully.

A really nice spot, the location is spectacular in terms of the view, especially in the evening. A nice food, beer & wine menu as well.

This place made a perfect meal and damper the steak was perfect mid rare nothing bad and was warmed through all the way never could have asked for anything better

The location is perfect; which makes it a great spot for a coffee, but that is about it as the food was very average and over priced.

I really love this place! The food is always great, the Staff is amazing and the best river view in town! If you never tried, you are missing a lot!

Really tasty food, polite staff, brilliant location and competitive pricing. I really cannot fault this place! Will definitely be back soon!

Good food and service. Prices are higher than what you'd pay for similar food elsewhere but the location and the view is worth it.

Food was some of the best I've had.
Setting is perfect.
Service was slow though and had to get a a couple of times for a drink.but that's Perths lack of training for staff generally.theres a real market out there to teach correct service.
Definitely be going back though everyone very friendly and not too expensive great food!

The beef, mushroom, egg and rice dish was delicious; while the avocado on charcoal toast was nice but a little dry. Convenient parking with a small playground right outside.

View is amazing.
Has some interesting breakfast options approx $15-24 per dish. Can add on food items (one of our party added om mushrooms).
I Had the brocolli and corn fritters, they were lovely and delicious. I would order that again if we went for breakfast there again.
Hubbie was a bit disturbed by the charcoal bread.
Coffee was a little bitter.
A great breakfast, great location, will go again.

1-Firstly on Arrival waitress was so ovely and accomadating. Especially with Rupert she made she he was pampered on arrival
2- Location, views and outdoor eating ambience was fantastic
3- Food wonderful.mouth water Gin Gin Angus beef. AMAZING
4-Service outstanding.even offered his &hers blankets for people who was here dinning outside.

Great cheese plate and tender pork cutlet. Great customer service from Megan. Phil and Sherry Aqulina. PS only problem is trying to work out a day to return for dinner.

Great staff, views of Perth City over the Swan River and the breakfast custim made tou our desires, yummo. The vibe here is suoer cool

Not a bad place to come down to in the afternoon after work and have a couple of bevvies. Dinner looked pretty good too - not the cheapest place but hey it's right on the river. Generally pretty good service.

Only called in for coffee. Had to move tables and chairs to access wheelchair ramp. Accessible toilet was being used as storeroom and staff changeroom and almost impossible to use for its designated purpose. Typical contempt for rights of the disabled.
