Great food, duck is brilliant. Had banquet for two (selection "C" on the menu). Was too much food, but all of it was faultless. Best Chinese I've had for years.

Loved it. Cheap and Cheerful little hole in the wall. $8.90 for noodle bowl with pork, dumplings, tofu and the tofu was excellent

I don’t usually review restaurants but was compelled to on this occasion. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Northbridge! Food was top notch and service was great. Highly recommend the banquet which has generous servings and great variety. Presentation and overall experience was awesome. Coming back again for sure

Good food but terrible service. I’ve never been welcomed as a regular customer, and when I choose a cheap special lunch meal, the wait staff and boss there seemed not happy. I was never offered water during the meals. This afternoon I had paid before the meals but when I finished and stepped out, the wait staff and boss were chasing me and asked me to pay. When they noticed that I had paid already, they just walked away without saying apology to me. Very rude and bad manner that I have never seen in the other restaurants.

I love this place! The food is great, a cantonese friend told me is very similar to the traditional canton food. I love the silent and peaceful ambient and the service is very good. The lady is lovely. The prices are very good for the area.

Excellent food and we finished everything with leaving any vegetable on the plates.

Extremely fast delivery and delicious without overload of corn flour to thicken the sauce.

We will be back and totally surprised that there wasn’t a queue to eat.

Thoroughly Recommended.

I've been coming here for years now and have never been disappointed.amazing food, Aisha loves the fried rice and she's a fried rice expert. Love it!

The noodles dish is great, cooked to the right texture and the sauce is not overpowering, the roast pork and duck are tasty, nice food, friendly staffs and reasonably priced (cheap/value for money, to be precise). Highly recommended

It's amazing a restaurant of this food quality can survive in Northbridge. My partner ordered Bbq pork and chips because he thought no one can get it wrong. He was proven wrong. The chips were soggy he couldn't even dip it in tomato sauce and bbq pork was chewy and dry.

Kids ordered wanton noodle in soup. Wanton was heavily starched and luke warm in soup and kids were asking if the wanton are safe to eat as they have not eaten wanton of such texture.

Overheard lady from the table beside us that her fried rice was completely cold, and complained about it to the staff. That should be the sign that we shouldn't have stayed for a meal.

There is bad food and there is bad bad food. This is definitely the latter.

My partner suddenly wanted to try their food during a lunchtime stroll on Sunday

We ordered 2 bbq meats + egg noodle soup and XO fried rice with bbq pork & 2 vege spring rolls.

Food was cheap but decent especially the roast pork & bbq pork. (We prefer their bbq pork to Good Fortune’s since it’s less sweet)

Only down side was the xo fried rice being pretty bland but you could just put some chilli oil & pepper from the side to save it.

They also seem to have even cheaper lunch deals for weekdays so we’d definitely be back to try more of their food menus.

We ordered a dish that was advertised as a "shredded duck spring onion pancake". It was so oily, when we picked the pancakes up the oil dripped all over our hands and our plates. The pancakes were filled with packet veg and non-descript meat. None of us could stomach it. When I expressed this to the manager he said the dish was supposed to be like that, and instead of offering to make it again he declared that if we didn't like it then it was our problem. The rest of the food was averagely decent but customer service is abysmal. Don't waste your money here.

*Update after owner's response - Apologies, it was supposed to be a BBQ pork pancake. Hardly the point really, it was the manager's inexcusable rudeness that was the issue.

We came in here on a wim for our 4 year anniversary and it was so so worth it the honey chicken is succulent and tasty, the sizzling Mongolian beef was incredibly flavourful and the combo noodles melt your heart

We will be back here time and time again

We love having lunch here on the weekends. The roast meats and rice are fantastic and very generous servings. We've been going here for years and the lovely lady at the counter always throws in the Chinese tea free. We've been in groups (family/friends) and everyone loves the food.

Friendly staff. Service is ok.
But if you are coming here for Chinese BBQ, pls reconsider.
Had lunch here n ordered the roast pork with duck with steam rice, the duck is ok nothing to shout about but the roasted meat was horrendous. The meat was cold and it was obvious they kept it overnight in the fridge and served them after resting it under room temperature for maybe 30 mins or so. The rice too was lukewarm. Disappointed really.

Do not usually give poor review, but this one deserve some constructive criticism. I m sure they can do better

The food was really nice and prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that the food took a while to come out, and when it did, it didn't all come out together. 4 dishes came out at different time over an hour which wasn't great. Couldn't fault the food though.

Above average in value for Perth. The lunch special are really good. Food is very good, one of the best value lunch time Chinese restaurants in Perth. Those in the know go there, (office workers and residents around northbridgel. At night go to city garden restaurant, OK.

I had lunch at the Ming BBQ House today. I had roast duck with soup egg noodles. Tasty, tender & delicious Cantonese roast duck. I love it. Had a good lunch with a pot of Chinese tea. Good value for money. I bought a whole roast duck for my family for dinner tonight.
