Decor is lovely, great atmosphere and the menu looked good. I had high hopes and ordered the Thai Beef salad. The food came quickly and presentation was good. Unfortunately the beef was overcooked and dry. The salad had all the right ingredients but no flavour - I only tasted a hint of dressing. The other dish ordered was poached eggs on toast and the eggs were overcooked.
Rather disappointing.
Would come back but only for a coffee and try the cake.

Came here for food about 45 minutes before closing.got a really filthy look from lady in kitchen. (you look into kitchen from counter) So I just ordered drinks and went for food elsewhere.

The atmosphere was great but they wanted to charge an $3 for a pot of hot water with a pot of tea. The staff were friendly to my friend who ordered before me but was curt with me.

Very nice location, the decor is great, and the pancakes were 10/10. I absolutely recommend a trip!

Great service and menu. Food and hot drinks all really good. Friendly and interesting place to go with all the memorabilia to see from 50s-70s.

An amazing cafe for the mid century decorations. The food was delicious but a bit cold. The staff were nice but not trained to collect dirty plates when bringing coffee.
It is extremely noisy when busy.
We still loved our visit despite some small annoyances.

Good ambience, very very good people, Cafe jazz on weekends, great place to chat, have breakfast, or just relax

Food was quiet nice no complaints, I think its alittle pricey compared to other cafes. Although the caramel latte here is soooo yum!

Wow. What a blast from the past. The decor is such a walk down memory lane. So colourful and bright. Awesome. And that also fits with the service which is first class. And the food is just as good. Oh and the barista is right on the money as well. It is so good I'll be going back this weekend for breakfast with some family. Highly recommend.

What an amazing place. The whole layout of the place with the retro decor is fantastic. Was very busy when we visited. Staff and service were excellent with the food we ordered arriving nice and quickly and the presentation and quality of it was top notch.
Would totally recommend.

Lovely revisit to this cafe today, so glad we came back to try it again, coffee, food, friendly service. PS the bacon is super crispy because that's what I asked for, underneath was also waffles, fried chicken tenders and real maple syrup. I was trying not to lick the plate afterwards. Delish.

Excellent, nostalgic interior and a great menu. Toasty warm and colourful in this cooler weather.

Cool setting. Coffee can be a bit hit and miss depending what barista is on, (the irish guy is the best) in saying that I took it back one time and the girl happily replaced it, just a bit annoying when you have to do that almost every second time (like I said - its hit and miss). Food is very mediocre - we did order on an extremely busy Sunday morning but eggs were cold and not cooked fully, toast soft and cold too, I thought about taking it back but there had already been a 30 min wait for the food as it was and we needed to be somewhere. Would not eat again. And will order coffee if I can see the Irish guy is on in the window.

Awesome little retro Cafe. Great service, friendly staff and nice coffee. I've had Eggs Bene twice, both times REALLY good and consistent.

They forgot to bring out a friend's meal and didn't even apologise for serving it 20 mins later. Their Credit Card facility was down and there was another 20 mins having to wait for that to come back on before we could order. The food came out cold. And quite frankly, the serving size is a bit miserly for the price. I think the place has lost its charm and is resting on its laurels. Such a pity. It used to be charming. BTW, the place wasn't even busy, so no excuse.

A really quirky cafe, the decor makes you feel a bit like you landed in an episode of WandaVision! I loved the Retro furniture and trinkets scattered around. A nice simple menu, good looking cakes and great coffee with excellent latte art. Recommended and well worth a visit.
