Merredin Tourist Park reviews
57Amazing caravan park. Yes it might be a bit noisy with the traffic. But if you want a spotless, clean and welcoming park. You can't go past here.
Nice little park. Neat and tidy with older but clean facilities
Quite reasonable tariffs too.
It was a Covid no contact arrival. Couldn't be easier. Pull up at reception, take your envelope with a map. Very clean park with a great kitchen. Great pool. We'll be back.
Lovely park, nice clean ablutions and a great layout. Bit sad that Covid had made the place a no admission to the office on arrival though. We had to find our envelope with our site info in it and follow directions to our allocated site. The only way to communicate with reception was by phone but they were very friendly and helpful when we had to call regarding our site.
Only thing that was annoying was the massively long trains that seemed to run most of the night, every night! The rumble of the carriages wasn't so bad but the horns were enough to jolt us awake.
Definitely recommend a stay but don't forget earplugs!
One of the loveliest parks we've stayed in. We are traveling with caravan. The only negative was the road noise and trains. Ear plugs helped!
Very Nice! Easy check in perfect spot for the 9m RV, very clean and friendly staffroom! Swam everyday and an easy ride into town on our bikes! We will return most definitely! 10 out of 10!?
A great place to stopover in Merredin The cabins are spotless and comfortable. As an added bonus the management are EV friendly and allowed us to charge our car up overnight on a 15A socket outside the office.
Friendly and one of the cleanest parks ive been too. Highly recommend
It's now been our 3rd stop over in 3 years & the park is still well maintained. A future onsite playground would complete this park for our kids
Leaky washing basin, broken antenna, broken sleep every night because of the trains throughout the night.
Just spent the last 9 day's in our caravan in the park. Lovely pool just an observation maybe have a pool blanket as even in the 40+ degrees day's the water was very cold. Great setup in the laundry room. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will return in the future.
Loved our stay. Staff put on the aircon prior to our arrival to make sure the cabin was cool on a 42c day.
Very neat n tidy cabin and park. Our 4th stay. Many more to come.
Our stopover on our way home. 2 bedroom chalet was quite spacious with 2 queen beds, a large living area and well equipped kitchen. The park was clean and tidy and just a short drive to the centre of town.
Rolled up late in the arvo and checked to see if they had availability for an overnighter at an unpowered site. Plenty of room and able to accomodate. The park is well kept and the ablutions are really clean. They even gave me a discount which was really generous of them! Would happily stay here again when I’m next in town.
I must also mention, hats off to the team for their strictness around covid protocols!
Ok facilities with no fuss, no coded bathroom locks or fandangled keys.but the trucks and trains going by 24/7 are a major issue. Most mine sites are quieter than this joint
Nice clean park, great spacious drive thru sites. Hot showers clean ablutions. Only grumble a sound barrier or higher fence to highway would help with road and rail traffic in the middle of the night which is constant.
Nice coal clean acomadation but watch out for the Gardner that uses the blower to clean cobwebs off your windows sill at 9.30 am. I was night shift and I didn't appreciate it.
Great welcome by receptionist. Even though we weren't booked in, she still managed to find us a spot. Great camp kitchen and ablutions. Definitely recommend.
Easy access, the self contained chalets are well appointed and are clean and new. Beds are super comfy. The odd train is loud but you get used to the rumble and a short toot. Merredin is too small to avoid the noise of the trains.
Enjoyed our stay. Very tidy and well maintained park, clean ablutions and good sized drive through bays. Some road noise as expected given location but would not deter us staying again. Friendly and welcoming staff and managers. Thanks!
