The people who work here are absolutely lovely. We got some pizzas delivered and they were delivered with care.
Toppings were good, however the pizza base was one of the worst I’ve had unfortunately. Actually didn’t even eat the leftovers.

The food didn't take long to cook, packaged well & the service was lovely. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the Merchant Frenzy for the bigger families.

After reading some good reviews about this establishment I decided to give them a go & let me tell you right now, The BEST fish & chips I've had. Light batter, perfectly cooked good sized peice of snapper, sea scallops & crab sticks that had the most amazing flavour & weren't soggy. I will most certainly be back! I would've taken a photo to post but I was to busy enjoying an amazing meal.

What can I say? We are so spoilt in this area for quality takeaway, and Merchant lifts the bar a little higher. The fish we had was sensational, two grilled, one battered - all 3 stunning. Beautifully thick, juicy, flakey, meaty pieces. No mush, no thin, dried out traces. Sensational. The dim Sims were really good also, perfect! Being fussy, I prefer my chips a little more browned, crunchy but they complimented our meal so well. Staff/owners are lovely, easy to talk to people, but they weren't busy, but I bet they are next time I visit. Which won't be long. Thanks guys!

Well, two years later, we returned, not from want of trying, but that's another story.
Three pieces of batterred fish & chips, as per review above fish, was excellent, and this time, chips were also. Crunchy but fluffy inside. Lovely. Our new go to Fishshop now!

It’s uncommon to find a place that does 2 food types well. It’s even rarer that you find one that delivers highest quality on both. Ingredients are fresh and high quality, oils in fryers is regularly changed - you can taste the difference. The pizza dough they use is the best. Basically it’s just a rare example of a restaurant that would prefer to provide quality consistency rather than being lazy. Clearly the owner has a good pallet too.

Recommended by my sister to try out the pizza’s from Merchant Seafood & Pizza. Let me start off by saying, I don’t normally have the time and energy to write reviews but this one is the rare exception. I have never tasted anything as perfect in my life as the pizzas they make from here. It was just mouthwatering every slice I was eating. Furthermore, the manager and employees are very friendly and atmosphere is family oriented. I would highly recommend to give up on other Seafood and Pizza stores and always come here if you want great food! See you again and again.

Ordered 3 pizzas, only received 2. Rang the store to see if we could get our third pizza and the manager was rude, dismissive and told me he wouldn't be organising the delivery for one pizza.

I ordered a few pizzas, it was soo delicious! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu! The employees are so amazing and friendly with the best service. I definitely recommend

Well prepared and good tasting food. Our go to take aways in the week and fridays for pizza and seafood. Management and staff are friendly. Premises very clean. Defnitely recommend.also on UBER Eats

Eat at Merchants again tonight. Oven not working, so I went for a fisherman's basket only $18.30 it was delicious and my wife ate grilled fish with salad. You must give it a go, you will love it. By the way I can't finish all, just to much to put away.

Walked in to this place randomly and was immediately impressed with the service and how quick we were served our meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fair dinkum aussie fish n chips

Disappointed. Snapper was very rubbery with the batter coming straight off. Such a shame, thought we may have found a decent fish and chip shop close to home!

We’d seen this fish n chips store from Clarkson Maccas drive thru and thought we’d give it them a try. Very happy. The chips were cooked very well, not dry nor overly greasy. Generous pieces of fish. And all the little extras (prawns, calamari etc) that come in the $32 box were tasty. The little salads were a simple, yet welcome addition. Comfortably fed 2 adults and 3 kids under 10.

WOW.legitimately the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Love the fact that I ordered 4 fish and chips and it came separately I four containers. They did not throw a certain amount of chips in paper and leave the fish on top as per other useless fish outlets. It was packaged perfectly. Can’t believe I only paid 10.50 for what I got.
Will definitely be back. Hope you guys stick around.

A really good fish and chips! We always go to Peters by the Sea in Scarborough, however it was too far for us to go there today. We have seen this place while buying maccas across the road and being surprised to find a fish and chips at the back of the Clarkson, we decided to give this a go today. Not disappointed at all.
Fresh fish with very light batter and a good chips that doesn't have typical oily taste.
Definitely recommended
