Partners car was fixed here for a great price, inspection wait time was quick and passed first time, receptionist was really helpful and answered questions. Overall great service!

Fantastic service. DoT made take the car over the pits due to their not sending me invoices for renewal. Funny how the nasty letter arrives safely. Apparently quite common: - (. Anyway, these guys were fantastic in getting me in straight away and giving my car a clean bill of health.

Will never recommend this to any1.terry is a good person but rest of all money makers know nothing about the customer service.charged me more than double.

Do not go here, went in for an inspection gave me a big list and tried to say they werent aloud to let me drive it home without fixing a whole bunch of stuff on it first even tho I had a permit. I refused to leave it there and I took it to another mechanic that did inspections and he told me that half the things that they listed were BS. This blokes a crook.

Had to 'pit' my car, the guy let me go and quickly fix my lights instead of instantly failing. 10/10 for service.

Recently had a car inspected here.
Had problems with transport dept with registration.
Terry spent 30 min of his own time trying to rectify the situation on the phone.
Terry also notified myself of the outcome a few days later.

Had my car inspected with these guys and a few repairs also, they picked up on a few defects and rectified and repaired the defects at no cost.

Terry the owner was great. Half the staff looks like they are on drugs. An hour inspection turned into 2 hours. But other than that.it's ok.

Terrible, dodgy and cheater. Had loss of power issue (which he diagnosed) on my Hiace. Failed inspection. Got him, yes got himself to replace EGR which he recommended. Cost me $1200 for genuine EGR installed and guess what. Still engine loosing power. Now he is asking to replace the engine and quoted $12,000 (roughly). How's that?

I am happy to take responsibility and own costs incurred as a result of not paying my vehicle registration on time. I am not so happy to accept blatantly unwarranted charges because of a business with zero morals.

It would be reasonable to expect the selection of businesses for the mandatory inspections are chosen by the DoT after a thorough initial and continued due diligence process and are reputable. Why would you think otherwise?

I find it difficult to believe the DoT are not aware of this business obviously taking advantage of the inspection process and forcing people to pay for bogus ‘issues’ that cause the vehicle to fail the inspection. In any case the DoT would benefit from reading these reviews and I encourage particularly those who elected to and continue to endorse their services to ascertain the extent of their unacceptable practices and unwarranted additional charges and remove them as a vendor on their page.

Unfortunately the thought to read these reviews happened too late. In the meantime, of interest is whether DoT will reimburse for the pathetic $250+ invoice (in addition to the initial inspection fee) forced to pay to get my keys to my car back - from the faulty but not faulty seat slide that conveniently incurred an initial first inspection fail and the ‘justified’ cost due to the complete removal of a seat rather than say popping your head momentarily under the seat, or using a mirror to see, or running fingers along the visible running track to find the easy to move 50c piece that apparently was the cause of the $100+ problem. Oh and yes, that led to the now required second re-inspection (1.oh look a 50c piece in the running track, 2.removal of 50c piece from running track, 2.completion of second inspection) and what a coincidence $100+ fee.

To inconvenience people due to not having their car for days and the additional costs that come with this (uber, additional temporary permit) is one thing but to blatantly and with no apology scam people and force them to hand over money under the guise of a government inspection process is nothing short of disgusting.

Had a motorbike DOT inspected and not only were they understanding when I was running late they also fixed the brake light that wasn't working for free.

No no no. Wouldn't go back to this dirty, disorganised place again if they paid me! Took a car there for a DOT inspection. 3 inspections later they finally passed it after we took it to a decent mechanic who replaced parts that needed to be replaced according to these thieves. The replaced parts were not worn at all and didn't even have a mark on them

Strongly advise avoid this business. I had my car inspected here they failed my car because one of seat belt had chew on it and they reckoned it is dead seat belt and need a new one. But I cleaned it on the site and boss told me not to clean on his site go out and come back again so he can charge me again. And when I came back in 10 minutes after I cleaned my car seat belt he told me book another appointment. I just paid $130 at least give a phone call and advise if there is minor issues like this one rather than failing and charging again. Scam people. Once inspection is done why not let owner know there car is ready rather than sitting there hours. Mate yes you make double money but you surely lost more customers.

Do yourself a big favour and DO NOT go near this business. Left my car in for DOT inspection, they come out with a $1500 quote to fix oil leaks and a various problems which were never there. Got my own mechanic to inspect it (who unfortunately doesn’t carry out DOT inspections) and to my suspicion there was no leak or any of the problems they quoted me $1500 for. Absolute cow boys at there best

They will rip you off, so stay well clear of this place.
There are many better mechanics out there!

I have dealt with Terry and his gang on several occasions. Their customer service might not be the greatest because they are all working! They are very fair and I believe quite honest with quoting prices. A good one for women who don't want to be ripped off. I have found them friendly and sometimes you just have to wait to get a good job done.

Waste of time with this place - dont use them - use the pizza delivery guy for your car repairs as I am sure he can do a better job

I am a young female and I know nothing about cars but I felt as though they treated me well there. Weren’t just trying to take my cash there was some genuine care which u don’t see often
