I have my Charter vehicles inspected here every year and they are efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful customer service. Had to postpone my vehicle inspection twice, the first one was last minute, yet the lady at the counter was understanding… she didn’t appreciate the last minute cancellation but was kind enough to give me another appointment without having to lose my deposit. The inspection was also efficient, she has the forms that I was supposed to download, print and bring. All in all a 5 star experience. Thank you.

I just passed my vehicle inspection here. The place deserves a 5 star rating as the people in reception are super friendly and helpful. I had to cancel half an hour early before last week, and the lady helped me move my inspection for next week. I would definitely recommend the place.

Did a DoT inspecting here. Outside it looked a bit run down, and no clear signage. The inspection was done quickly though. No funny business, so I'm happy.

A positive review on an inspection fail! I brought my 63 Chevy Impala in for an inspection yesterday. Terry found that the after market radiator that I had installed was rubbing against the power steering box. If he did not see this problem it would have ended up damaged the radiator and could have even damaged the motor. To my surprise, Terry knocked back the extra money he could have made by having his shop do the work. Instead he suggested that it would be pretty easy for me to fix. I brought the car home, fixed the problem and today brought it back for aterry to check. Once Terry confirmed the work had been done, he passed the car! Remember that there is always a good reason that a vehicle fails an inspection. AND that the inspector would be held liable if what they let get by, caused you to have an accident! I would say that M&D are a fair an honest mechanic shop and will recommend to anyone needing an inspection. And I will be using them again.

I was very happy with the staff and how they handled the inspection of 2 vehicles and 2 trailers. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This is my second visit for a vehicle inspection and it was done quickly as possible and very professionally.

Had to use this company to fix a drive belt and harmonic balancer was charged $1200 for a replacement belt and balancer (belt was brand new) less then 3 months later i now need to replace both parts again. Vehicle is a 2012 Ford Ranger.

I used M&D on 3 different occasions and was very happy with my experience. Staff were great to deal with. They are a very busy garage due to the vehicle testing that they do and would highly recommend them.

Consumer Beware - Gougers

My partner recently took our well maintained 2007 VW to get inspected at M&D, following a routine service from our usual, reputable mechanic the day prior.

The defects M&D listed involved:
Rectify oil leaks and de-grease underneath - the routine service prior from our mechanic involved replacement of oil filter & sump plug washer.

Lighting - rectify moisture in lamp assembly to be replaced. My partner was advised by M&D to ‘dry the moisture yourself or replace’. Condensation?

Interior - bubbles/distorted/peeling/scratched window tint. This must be reference to a patch of dirt/dog slobber on the window. It wiped off with a wet cloth at home.there are no other window tint bubbles/scratches throughout.

Electrical - washers - to operate correctly. There was no water in the window washer reservoir. M&D advised ‘usually we would just top this up, but as there are other things wrong we did not do it’

I can’t help but believe my partner has been taken for a ride by these guys, given the bogus defects (other than perhaps moisture in the lamp assembly?), gender and the fact she was wrangling 2 toddlers on pick up and drop off, and essentially an easy target to capitalise on. Along with the re-inspection upsell along the lines of ‘we are fully booked out for the next 2 weeks but might be able to squeeze you in for a re-inspection given the defects are so minor’ - it’s a matter of principle / consumer protection.

I've Been Using Terry For many Years Servicing My Work Vehicles And Attending To Many Mechanical Issues And Does A Great Job Every Time Highly Recommended

First time to visit and it is my last time, service is not quality, staffs are rude and not helpful.

Had my car inspected by this place few times, got a quick appointment, the staff is very helpful and friendly, I will be using their services in the future.
