I’ve come here a few times and never ever once left in happy. Love that they talk through what they’re going to do at the start and are very clear for what they’re going to do. The staff are so lovely and kind definitely paying for what you get. Wouldn't go anywhere else I trust this team with my hair 100 percent.

My appointment with Linney and her apprentice was fantastic - I felt taken care of and felt that my stylist knew exactly what I wanted. I left as a very satisfied customer!

Well! I thought I would support a local business - and went elsewhere for a cut and colour Never again! I'm back - with my tail between my legs. Ivan has sorted out a terrible haircut - and when it grows a bit - charlotte can sort my colour too. Lovely salon and staff. My lesson is learnt haha ‍️

Charlotte is always giving my hair excellent manageable colour, and especially shine as it's not always achievable with blonde hair, thank you.

Charlotte and Linney were amazing today and provided my daughter and I with a superior service. Extremely happy with both our cuts and my colour. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and for the complimentary facial, we both left feeling amazing!

It has been a long time since a salon visit for me and I will admit I am a box dyer.but Tanika took this challenge on and was amazing.did some amazing balyage with a well needed root touch up. Thomas gave me a fabulous cut with layers and I feel like a new woman! Thanks guys for the amazing experience! Will be back!

The cut and colour were great, however was made to sit for 45 minutes before anyone came to see me, and the cost was way to expensive.

Can not recommend at better salon. I be slowing building up my courage to go blonde and the staff know exactly how to smooth my journey/transformation. Tanekka has looked after me my last 3 visit and I definitely be seeing her again to continue my transformation. Thank you and wish all your staff a merry Christmas

Courtney fit me in for a last minute blow dry when I had an emergency at home and did such an amazing job. Very accommodating but also very skilled! Will be back xx

My sister booked this salon for her year 12 ball and showed them an “inspo photo” of mermaid waves as typically done at hairdressers. They completed this look with a hair straightener and it did not look the slightest bit neat or professional. We explained we were tight on time and they said to come back after her makeup and they will do it with the proper mermaid wave tool. Paid the full price - absolutely disappointing to the maximum. Will not be coming here ever again.

Teagan and Ivan are super stars! They always do a fabulous job with my hair, whether it is for the full package of colour and cut or my in-between retouch appointments. I find all the Maurice Meade Garden City staff friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Rebecca on reception always goes the extra mile and does a great job. As an example, I purchased a Christmas bag and my preferred colour wasn''t available, so Bec kindly offered to find one at another salon and keep it aside for me. Thank you MM Garden City for being fabulous.

I haven't been in a hairdressers for at least 15 years! So coming here today was a touch nerve wracking but I knew what I wanted done. Stepping foot into the salon I was warmly welcomed from the get go and taken care of the entire time. The haircut I am in love with, getting a fringe after not having one for 25 years is quite the change and Thomas certainly delivered, thankyou!

I came to the salon with my client. A pensioner. For a dry trim I was quoted $160. How can a pensioner afford that? Disgusting!

Colouring is excellent, however the cuts have been hit and miss- the price jumps when you add a wash and blow dry, and the constant push for add ons gets annoying.

The staff are friendly and nothing is too much hassle. The products, as expected, are good quality and leave my hair feeling great.

I always love my MM experience. The staff are so lovely and professional. And Thomas’ cuts are just the best. The man certainly knows what he’s doing. He is an artist with the scissors and I like to give him creative control. He never disappoints.
