Masonmill Gardens

Service here is quite poor. They don't tell you that it is going to be an hour plus wait for food when they seat you or take the order and your money. I understand that things get busy, but waiting over an hour is unacceptable and customers should be given a warning when it is going to be like that.

It seems that anyone leaving a negative review is accused of writing a misleading review or being rude to staff. Strange how Carl seems to know everyone, exactly what happened and how it was all the customer's fault for everything that went wrong. These replies don't make me want to go back.

A gem in the hills great service good prices and surprised with rose gardens mini golf had couple great little tricky holes.will have to return to check out the restaurant and Irish pub

Went for a pre going back to work visit. Lovely grounds, a little smaller than I thought but interesting set up. Lovely giant koi pond with fish food to purchase and a playground to entertain kids, plus mini golf (was too hot to try that day) Irish pub and town beer garden looks lovely and would be an interesting place to visit.

Definitely can see why it's a top rated kid friendly spot and quite a few scenic spots for photos with the tree arches and neo classical French garden set up

Excellent 5 star beer garden and restaurant with a difference. Lovely ambience, great food and superlative service.

We used to go to this place for a high quality breakfast. The menu was diverse and food quality was great. We could enjoy the good food looking at the beautiful garden.
But today we did not have the same experience.
Apparently this year they have changed their breakfast strategy and changed the previous menue to a very average out of fresh Irish buffet. Very boring menu and not kids friendly or vegan friendly at all. The service was not great either. Minimal explanation was provided about how the new ordering system works which confused us at the start.we experienced long delay for a simple milk shake for our baby! We asked for a kids sized milk shake, and the answer was we don't do kids size, instead we had to buy an adult size shake and split it in two cups.
Very disappointed.

Very popular on Friday has menu of Kangaroo steak BARBECUE Pork Fish Chips rose gardens surround spectacular and has a bar for alcohol ic drinks

Coffee and Cake were great, lovely place for a visit and to walk around It was very quiet though maybe because it was a Wednesday. Menu was limited as it was quiet but we were happy with coffee and cake anyway.

You can visit the dam after as well. It's on the same road.

Service very good. Food excellent. Sadly coffee cold and rest room not clean. Still gret place to visit.

My daughter's wedding was catered here, great staff, food and everything went well with only one hitch, the bride and groom

Great location and Venue for a day out. If your thinking about having lunch you will need a fair chunk of cash. The high prices did not match the portion sizes and seemed grossly over the top. Wait time was over 30 minutes. Some of the staff must have started that day as they seemed pretty clueless.
Cake was $9.00 a piece and a Chai tea $4.50. It is a nice setting to visit but we felt overrated.

We just popped in for a drink and a walk around the property with our kids. Liked the beautiful gardens and the venue would make a great wedding location for sure.

Mason Mill is 5 star, hands down, great venue! Great food, broad wine selection, fabulous service and the most amazing views.
Several ACROD parking bays, kids playground, even a mini golf course to keep everyone occupied.

I can honestly recommend this place. The steak cooked on the stone and the pork barbecued ribs absolutely mouth-watering. Great value, and v/good quality and quantity. Will be going back.

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food, not great. They also brought the cake out before the main meal. The view is great so this kind of service put a bit of a downer on the experience for us.

A Birthday gathering was a lovely surprise for Gran who enjoyed the meal and the service. Deffinately recommend a further booking.

Beautiful gardens, food was beautiful the steak on a lava rock was so tender. Lovely mini golf course. Very enjoyable day

Fabulous place for a Brekky! My younger son's birthday and his Cheeky lil daughter - 2 yr old Mila &my elder son and his wife and their lil - 2month old Lydia and us grandparents had a wonderful time, a nice chocolate cake for the bday boy which was attacked by Mila, fish feeding the COIs in the lake was an experience for all lil ones there.
Service was prompt and Brekky was great.
Well done to all the staff especially the young lass on the register who wasn't flustered and such a brilliant smile and personality. Great choice of staff in this Hidden Gem in Carmel.

Beautiful experience, food was very well presented and the portions were perfect.
Went on a Friday for lunch and it was perfect. We did not have to wait for a table and the service was excellent.

Always enjoy Masonmill eatery and walking around their beautiful garden area. Recently returned celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. We had our ceremony in the rose garden here so it very special to us. The development of the gardens, children's play area and restaurant is quite outstanding. Delicious food! Freindly greeting, easy accessible with plenty of parking and hygiene standards respected.
