Masonmill Gardens reviews
76 Masonmill was one of our favourite Sunday Morning Coffee/Tea stop-offs for our motorcycle group. Was fairly let down today with waiting nearly hour for an order of 11 coffees to be completed, one not served before we needed to depart. Disappointing your Mason Scones and Jam or the like now not available but a great place and sit and talk to the mates. Big tick that you welcome dogs so TedE gave you five stars for that. Will check you out again in a couple of months.
Cheers, Joondalup Ulysses Group
Food is slower than a dead tortoise. We were waiting for 2 hours for our food, but we did get free drinks for waiting for so loooooong DO NOT COME HERE FOR FOOD. One good thing is about this place is mini golf. The staff was nice and apologized after the long wait. Overall I would recommend coming here if you want to wait long for your food.
Absolutely love this place. Start off with a round of mini golf, so much fun.
Then up to the restaurant for pre- lunch drinks. Then order an amazing meal. Delicious. Sit back & enjoy the views. When finished, stroll through the gardens & take lots of photos. Check out the fish, amazing. Congratulations Mason mill Cafe & Restaurant. Well worth the wait for you to reopen.
Great to see Masonmill open again after succumbing to covid. The grounds are beautiful and the venue extremely pleasant.
Called in on Saturday for a snack and wine to be pleasantly surprised by the generosity of the 'small plate' serves and the quality of the food. Three large tasty cheese croquettes and three decent-sized buttermilk chicken pieces on slaw.
Excellent setting, family friendly and caters for food intolerance. The GF salmon bagel was terrific.
I am reposting this, because the owner of the business deleted the original review within a day of being posted, without even discussing the review with me.
Horrible experience. Awesome venue, kids friendly, nice but the service was shocking, for a such a high rated place. We had our wedding anniversary party at the MM last Saturday. If you plan on having wedding or any private party at the venue, please make sure that you draw up a contract, with all your requirements clearly addressed. Face to face meetings and phone conversations are not enough. With a contract in a pocket, it’s easy for a lawyer to send them a ‘please explain letter’. Also, be prepared for a deflection wall, full of excuses if you raise any concerns you might have with the venue. Great disappointment.
My friends and i came to this place because one of the girls was having a birthday. We had the breakfast menu and each of us enjoyed our meals. Very nice place. They cater for large groups and is a wedding venue as well. The place is that big, they even have a mini golf course. We didn't have time for a game, but I'm sure that would be fun. There were people of all ages and the food was reasonably priced and tasted great. We were impressed and will be returning again.
I came for breakfast with a group of people. We had a decent serving and the coffee was really good too. Later the group I was with played a round of mini golf. Lots of laughs as people made good shots and more laughs as some made miserable shots.
I’ve going there for breakfast couple times. I went there yesterday and realise they’ve change the menu to buffet and very few options if you don’t want to have buffet. Food was very very average the toast was so hard you couldn’t even have a bite.poached eggs was hard poached very disappointed. The positive Was the waitstaff was very nice friendly they ask the chef to do the toasts again. Not going there any time soon if it’s still buffet food.
Buffet style breakfast was not what we expected but service, venue was amazing.the mini golf was so much fun. Will definitely go back again
Great view. Good prices. Great service and fantastic views. Everything from the mini golf to the fish pond and French gardens made it a wonderful visit.
Very friendly and helpful staff and a great mini golf course!
We had a great time and enjoyed the view and scenery, such a beautiful property.
Amazing views, friendly staff & sensational food!
Stopped by 2 weekends ago with a group of mates and all 6 of us could not stop talking about how perfect our experience was. I don’t normally single any staff out but I had to praise the efforts of a young lady, named Rose I believe, who was so calm, kind & professional with serving us despite working through such an extremely busy day. Very impressed and will definitely be back, thank you so much!
Beautiful restaurant/Cafe in Perth Hills, steak was great, staff were really friendly, nice rose garden
Beautiful venue and food was good but the service was a real let down. It started well as we were found a table on the beer garden but went down hill from there.
The ordering process took extremely long and we were poured the wrong drinks initially. The food ordering process uses a number system but when brought out the server shouted "I don't have a number but have two chicken burgers". This isn't too much of a problem unless there are a large group of people who have been waiting for ~45mins for their food and are extremely hungry. Long story short, it took a little discussion and negotiation to determine the food was probably mine before the server still wanted to split the order between two tables. Ultimately the other table agreed that we had ordered first and it made sense our order be filled in full. A very unnecessary exercise that would've been solved by simply sticking to the number system they have.
Generally a good experience but please improve their service.
Never written a review before but this needs to be said. Absolutely horrendous service. Waiting 30 mins in line for a drink then 1 hr 10 for food to come. Simply awful. Nice view though.
Lovely staff, lovely food. Prices are a bit high but for a nicer cafe its reasonable. The gardens sounding Mason Mill are amazing and definitely worth the walk through.
Stunning venue. Delicious meals. Great service even though it was very busy. Definitely recommend a visit
Booked for 12: 30PM, lined up and waited 10min order placed at 13: 05. Food delivered to table at 14: 04. Just so you know.
The scenery is amazing. But the let down is the service, I waited over an hour for my food and I understand it’s the long weekend but looking at previous reviews complaining about service and I agree them and it wasn’t even on a long weekend for them. My partner made a booking and I told the waitress she jumped from me straight to another family then back to me and told me to find my own table. The food is extremely average as well. The table I was on was dirty and we asked multiple times for them to clean it up.
