Margaret River Tourist Park

Location was great, facilities were great but the size of the caravan sites was pretty small. We only have a 16ft caravan at it just fit. By the time we got out a table and two chairs that was pretty much all the room left on the site. A 3x3 gazebo would have been hard up against our van and our neighbours. All the lots numbered in the 30s on the bitumen were all the same. Heaps of room on the grasses sites and even more on the unpowered sites.

Our 2nd Christmas here at the park, thinking it may be our new Christmas time home away from home. The staff are wonderful and the facilities are great too. Close walk to town and kids large and small are catered for with things to do. Fantastic!

Lovely park. Lots of green trees and hedges. Good laundry facilities and clothes lines. We stayed in a one bed cabin. Great kitchen area with table chairs and sofa. Separate bedroom and bathroom. Nice outdoor sitting area with a table and two chairs.

A very good caravan park in a good location with very good facilities and amenities which are kept spotless, recommended

I spent a night in a cabin which was very cosy and had everything to make it comfortable. It was quiet, leafy, central to everything and seemed to be well maintained and run. I booked via phone as the booking site online is not particularly user friendly, however I got an extremely pleasant woman at reception who made it easy. Highly recommended and I'll stay again.

Been here a few times in the past but this time we felt like this place is getting really cramped with lots of people in close proximity units, tents and caravans. The complimentary wifi barely worked in our unit due to lack of in house router or booster. Apart from that, our unit is relatively new and clean with fully functioning kitchen and huge fridge. However on the notice in our kitchen, we were told that no cooking is actually allowed in the unit. All cooking must be done in their communal kitchen which is a bit strange. It's a good budget accommodation but i think we.will be looking elsewhere next time.

We stayed a week at this CP. It's location is great with easy access to town and all the surrounding attractions. We found the staff friendly, the amenities always clean and experienced no issues. Our site was large and quiet and all this added to our excellent experience of Margaret River.

Our site was covered with green matting and had grass all round. The toilet block was clean and showers were great. Camp kitchen had everything you need. The park was reasonably close to town - a good 15 minute walk to the main street where there are plenty of eateries etc. Also had reasonable internet connection in the park. I would stay there again.

It’s ok. It’s certainly not bad.but the park needs some work. Unlike other caravans parks there’s usually a feature like a river or a beach to win over stayers. There isn’t anything like that here. There is a swimming pool but if could do with freshening up. A few more plants to make it inviting perhaps.

Benefit, you are walking distance to everything. The campsites are just all a little close an paved. Feeds a little run down.

The showers and other facilities are ok but could definitely do with a good scrub or a refurbish.

Such a great experience. The staff were so friendly and full of knowledge of the area. Very affordable, clean, comfortable chalets. Has an awesome pool, laundry and BBQ facilities with surrounding gardens. Will definitely be back for sure. Very well situated to the town. Awesome place - a must stay.

Well located with walking distance to Margaret River town centre. The Tourist Park is very compact, so you need to be comfortable with having loads of people around you at very close proximity. Well set up for families with BBQ's, play area, pool, big bouncy pillow for kids. The chalets are well appointed, but could be cleaner.

Loved the place, accommodation was clean and well kept, only downside on second to last day asked cleaner for just 2 satches of coffee and was flatly refused.wow I was gobsmacked. But a real children friendly place.

People complaint about noise when my friend and I wasn’t talking and out video was playing very low.

Nice place, good location, area for bbq, safe for the kids and very nice staff (most of them!) They have a massive bounce pillow, pool and some other things to keep the kids entertained!

The staff are super friendly. The pool and the trampoline entertains the kids as well as the grown ups. Everything was clean and managed well.

I thought i would hear lots of children running around and screaming at night but it was so peaceful and quiet.

Staff seem very accommodating and friendly. Both rooms had faulty showers and try not move any furniture to look for power points. You will be in for a shock with the amount of dust and dirt behind there. Pricey rooms too.

The staff were ok, and the park was clean enough, the pricing was very poor, we booked the last available site and some how this incures a higher rate because of "dynamic pricing" so we got punished for filling the park. Our over priced site was so un level that it took two leveling ramps, as for value for money, a big thumbs down.

Spent three nights in a comfortable one bedroom cabin here during October 2021. The cabin had everything we needed for our short stay. The Free WIFI was an appreciated bonus. The friendly staff welcomed us warmly upon our arrival and throughout our stay. The park appeared well maintained and a maintenance issue brought to the attention of staff was promptly tended to.
