Margaret River Mouth Viewpoint reviews
37Stunning sunset view at the beach. Great facilities around, making access easy and beach experience enjoying.
River looks safe enough for swimming with kids. I would not go swimming here in the ocean because of the dumping and all the rips. Few surfers about, good to watch. Surf life savers patrolling the beach to keep everyone safe.
Beautiful beach meets river. The choice is yours! Surf the waves in the turquoise ocean or simply relax in the still quiet waters of the river mouth. If swimming isn't your thing, then lay down a towel or a tent on the clean, soft, white sand and watch the world go by. Don't forget the suncream!
Follow the path from the beach/carpark and you can find hire canoes and nice scenery and rock formations
An interesting view of a river mouth with an island and where seemingly not much river water flowing into the ocean. It is summer now, i believe it is a different story in winter.
The river mouth at Margaret River is one of the most underrated spots to visit in the Australian South West. I love to spend the sunrise here and more often than not the coffee van will be in the car park. The river is good for swimming and the waves can be pretty ripper out past the banks. Great place to spend time with family and friends!
Great place to chill and have a swim at the river. The sand is white-yellow and the vibes are terrific.
The place is very windy, so take that in mind. Though, that’s the reason why it’s a great surfing beach!
There are toilets and a small changing room. No showers.
A nice scenery and surf point or just for chillax on the beach. The rock formation and the river end complete the beauty of this place
Great spot for all people of all ages. Roaring paceman with perfect swells on one side calm river with great sands, no currents, no waves on the other.
Amazing view of beach. High waves. You could rent a surfing board. It is not good for swimming.
BEAUTIFUL SPOT OF THE WESTERN EDGE OF THE AUSTRALIAN CONTINENT
If, like me, you hail from the East Coast, you will marvel at the fact that the next big land mass across the ocean is Madagascar!
Lovely part of Australia with warm summers and great selection of wineries:)
It is a surfer's point. You have parking and toilet / changing room. Walking trails are there to walk around the bushes and dunes
What a stunning part of Australia go surfing if your crazy wild waves.
Also part of the world famous Cape to Cape track you must hike this one.
Nice view of the river end. I guess the tide was low so the river ended some distance before the sea. Nice beach.
Go here if you like to surf or SUP or kayak or beach comb or just hang out. Such a gem of a spot.
Cool spot to enjoy the sun at the crystal clear water of the river and also to watch the surfers.
Great place for younger family's, the gentle river has many shallow areas and is perfect for the little ones. If you're going to be driving here, there is some parking, but it will fill very quickly. I will suggest you arrive before 10am at the latest during holidays and weekends. Otherwise you may end up driving around and around or parking curbside.
