Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay

Our family stayed in this beautiful Farmstay during the Christmas holiday. Very impressive to the tranquil and cosy environment. Spacious house with well equipped household facilities. The very important thing is the friendly service from the management. Plus received surprising gift of the fresh new laid eggs. Recommended to the family with young kits, if you want to enjoy a short break in a quite country town, this is the place you want to go.

Absolutely fantastic. The family who run the farmstay are lovely and very accommodating. The cabins are spacious and clean and the animal feeds and multiple playgrounds make it perfect for kids.

We recently stayed at hideaway farm stay for 2 nights and had the most amazing stay,
I can not fault the place accommodation was spotless and had a fenced area for dogs which made taking our dog on holiday with us so much easier.
Plenty and play equipment for kids. My 7 year old had the time of his life with the animals.
Kim who did the animal feeds was so lovely and accommodating.
We will definitely be returning as I had to promise my child we will return for him to get in the car to leave.

Margaret River farm stay is a wonderful place for the family to enjoy farm life. Units are clean and modern love the woodfire. Kids loved animal feeding and all the little playgrounds scattered thru farm. They loved an evening around the firepit making damper and toasting marshmallows. Kim and her staff aree great with the kids and adults alike and know the area well. We loved our stay, hope to return one day.

My little one had the best time! Feeding all the animals as well as playing in all the parks. Such a relaxing break, and so close to Margaret River town too.

The cottages are clean. Playgrounds are plenty - enough to keep the lil ones occupied all day. Super relaxing holidays.

Perfect family holiday for young kids. Friendly staff and huge expanse of area to play and explore. All animals a friendly and like a pat.

Highly recommended for family holiday with Margaret River town.
The farmstay is suitable for children of any age. Kim takes great delight in giving to all children on the mornings of feeding the animals.
The houses are beautiful. 'mum' just needs to pack clothes. It's home away from home. Little picket fences keep young children/dogs safely in the back yard. Fire pit for marshmallow roasting is lit every night.
The scenery is beautiful. Relaxing.
Worth the money and travel time.

Such a lovely play to stay, especially with all the animals. Just outside of Margaret River, the location is perfect. Well maintained, clean & friendly staff. The chalets were so clean & the best was very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

What a fantastic long weekend we’ve had. We spent the weekend in a superior 2 bed cottage for our 2 year olds birthday. The cottage was lovely, right outside the emu pen. The farm itself was lots of fun for the kids helping feed the alpacas, kangaroo, cows, emus, sheep and chickens. We definitely will be back. A massive thanks to Kim for her hospitality. Location was perfect and loved being around the nature. Loved the feedings in the mornings! Everyone working in the farm stay was so warm and welcoming! It was such a great experience. Will be sure to come back and recommend anyone else to this place!

If Towels and floor mat (in the bathroom) could have been changed daily it would have been great!

Farm for kids. Pretty simple but emu feeding is awesome (every 2nd day). Owners are lovely and welcoming and farm fresh eggs are delicious.

Friendly and accomodating owners with excellent service, fixed our issue immediately.relaxing atmosphere, great location. The kids loved the animals and their feeding time. Millions of stars during the clear night sky and a wood fire for the cold chilly nights and roasted mush mellows. What a relaxing getaway

Was just perfect, could not fault any aspect of the accommodation, setting or activities, not to mention the staff were excellent.

The reception is very friendly. The animal feeding session in the morning is very fun and enjoyable. You get to feed Alpacas, pet a kangaroo (depends on whether it is there), emus, cows, sheeps and birds (chickens and ducks). They allow petting of sheeps and emus (when feeding).

The farm is always welcoming and a great place to just hideaway and relax. Would prefer the newer studios. Book early
