Margaret River Beach Apartments

Looking good. The correct name of the area is Prevelly. Margaret's Beach resort is on Walcliffe Rd. We are excited about our trip here coming up soon. It only took a couple of hours to drive there from Perth.

My family and I recently enjoyed a long weekend at the resort, staying in a 2 bed apartment. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. The resort is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and the White Elephant cafe, which serves a set breakfast menu to resort guests. The pool, despite being heated, was freezing, but consequently, refreshing. Overall, great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

It was an ok experience but i cant say I would recommend it. The manager at reception who checked me in was friendly and really knowledgeable about the area, the apartment we stayed in was self contained which had everything we needed. What really let it down was the cleaning aspect. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs throughout, there were dirty dishes and appliances, there was a blood stain on the mattress protector and blood on one of the curtains. When i complained the manager took it seriously and made sure it was rectified, which was good, but i was still very grossed out. The positives are that the views and the ocean breeze are amazing, the restaurant on site serves delicious food and the price wouldn't be bad if it was properly maintained. It was uncomfortable to be on holiday in such a dirty place. I wont be staying here again.

Location is close enough to the beaches such as surfers Point and river mouth. The room is a good size with fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Clean and comfortable. Suitable for couple or family.

Modern and spacious rooms with a fully functional kitchen, lounge, laundry room and parking space. The spa bathtubs would have been a bonus if they weren't so slippery and noisy. There was still soap leftover in the soap dish from the previous guest!

Had no problems with the rooms until it was bedtime. They weren't soundproof at all. We could literally hear the neighbour flushing, using the tub, and walking down the stairs. We all slept very poorly and were woken up very early by the neighbour giving her kid a shower!

On the plus-side, the receptionist lady was very sweet and let us check-in early and told us about the on-site restaurants and bar. The location's great if you're looking for a beach-side getaway far from the city centre. Not so great in winter. Quite a long drive from all the tourist attractions.

Overall, this place is definitely better for an isolated summer staycation next to the beach.

Everything was great except the staff in the restaurant were very young & inexperienced & I felt a little ripped off as our wifi didn't work. Also not accessible to the beach ️ because of the really high sloped road. I give it 4 though as the owner Len was nice & the room was lovely, clean & accessible & the restaurant did nice cocktails by the. I thoroughly recommend the sticky date pudding with lots of fresh whipped cream

Excellent overnight stay
High quality sheets, clean and great presentation. Super comfortable pillows. Greatful for an early check in. Lee the owner was extremely friendly and professional. Enjoyable stay we would certainly be back

There was a lovely gentleman at reception who allowed us to check-in early during a dreadful rainstorm. Beautiful, spacious room with modern decor. Fully updated and spotless.

Hotel room is Tiny and dirty had bugs all over the walls. Also has no allocated parking so I had to park my mustang over 100m from my car bays as selfish people took them which was the bag for my apartment. Overall wish I stayed anywhere else. Stay at a winery don't waste your money here

Stayed at this property for a weekend getaway and was really amazed by the views and hospitality of the place.

Best apartment I ever stayed. Huge, clean and well equipped. My family have lot of fond memories for this place.

Lovely location within 2 mins drive to beach. Stayed in lovely townhouse which was clean and spacious. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing. The place was absolutely clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the masters rooms. Everything was clean and looked new. Only problem is the walls were small so you can hear your neighbours footsteps upstairs but otherwise great place with a beach nearby
