Such great value and perfectly located if you are wanting to be by the beach. Even better is the local bar/restaurant “the common” is right there! Food is awesome and so are the drinks! Great place to set and watch the sunset too!

Amazing apartment. More modern than looks in pics. Gentleman at the front desk very welcoming and gave us a free upgrade. Spa bath is superb after a long day cycling

Spontaneous last minute trip, we rang the resort prior to leaving to ensure we were able to book and checkin late. The caretaker was more than accommodating and we really enjoyed our stay in the two bedroom spa apartment townhouse.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed as part of McLeods Margaret River Tours. It was above our expectations. A 2 bedroom apartment with beautiful views. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Great location close to the ocean, beautiful sea view from our suite, excellent staff (sincere thanks especially to manager Lee), good pool, great breakfasts at The White Elephant, easy access to everything that Margaret River region has to offer! Highly recommend and will return.

Dropped in for sundowners. Worth the drive, food was great value and the beers were cold. Great outlook

I can’t believe that this place has been given so many 4 and 5 stars - it’s TERRIBLE!
My sister and I booked an apartment with twin rooms for three days initially back in April, then extended it by one day the day before we arrived. Both of us were really looking forward to our stay at the Margaret Beach Resort and Margaret River. The apartments looked so nice on the website.
When we arrived however, our illusion was shattered. We were allocated a 2 bedroom apartment - room 219 I think - that was downstairs and not a glimpse of a beach. Our view from the front of the apartment was quite pleasant of the garden, but the back of the apartment - the kitchen and second bedroom was awful. It was permanently dark, overlooked by a public walkway (no privacy) and a garden and utilities embankment.
We went back to Reception, complained and asked to be moved to another apartment. No joy there! They said they had no other apartment for us but did ask us if we wanted to check out! We were holidaying there from Sydney - where were we going to get accommodation in Margaret River for 4 nights?
My sister had the first shower there - a shower over a very high bath. She warned me that the shower was leaking and water went everywhere. Taking that onboard, I had a very short and low pressure shower to avoid drowning the bathroom again.
We complained to Reception and asked for more bath towels to mop up. We were told they don’t usually offer these as we were given our quota on check in - and that we can wash and dry them ourselves…. They did begrudgingly give us a couple more bath mats.
On the second day I had my shower and was very carefully getting out of the very high bath. How this was passed is a mystery. Anyway, with my left leg anchoring me in the bath and lifting my right leg over - my left leg slipped in the slippery bath and I scraped my right leg down the sharp tiled edge of the bath. I am still having medical treatment for this trauma. I asked the Receptionist at checkout to note this accident, I showed her the photos and described in detail what had happened. Her response was that they could offer slip mats.
Being an asthmatic, I was concerned too at the mould in the bathroom. When this was reported, the housekeeper did go and spray bleach all around the tiles, but nothing was done about the mould on the wall behind the door.
On the plus side, the apartment itself was quite nice, beds comfortable and it was great being able to do some washing. One star.
But, both my sister and I had the impression that they weren’t interested in helping us at all.
One star goes to the Commons. That was great - nice food and staff.

Disappointing.
This place is extremely sparse and doesn't even come with the basics like a causal machine.
If you actually plan to stay here for more than 2 nights and want to provide for yourself you need to bring absolutely everything including. Didhwshing liquid, salt n pepper.
Interior is old. Double beds are pushed together single beds.
Wifi is terrible
For almost 500 /night this isn't great value at all.

Good rooms but located 10km from the township, restaurant on sites was good but very limited menu, also Cafe is not currently open. There is a good coffee shop on the beach front called the white elephant.

Lovely place with very friendly reception staff who were able to accommodate an extra night on to our booking at short notice. Loved having a washer and dryer in the bathroom to clean our hiking gear!

In our room (220) the bathroom had a very large step to get in/out of the bath/shower, made more difficult when the floor is wet. Older adults and those with children might want to request a room with a different configuration.

Nice location just across from the beach. Some rooms are a bit dated but spacious and clean. With a stay.

Fantastic location. We booked the rooms from Internet. Rooms were clean and well kept. Kitchen was fully equipped on the upper floor with a living room and dinning area.small balcony. Beds were comfortable with clean bedshets and electric blanket. Receptionist was exceptionally Competent. Checking in was done in minutes. Good for a family of 5 or 6 person. Two rooms in the lower floor and both rooms has bath tub and toilets. Upper kitchen has a toilet. Overall worth the money.

Great location with fabulous sunset views across the Indian Ocean just a short walk away. Rooms are basic but have all you need for a great beach holiday. Food at The Commons is fantastic and the service from the lovely young team is first class. Great for families and groups.
