Little Way reviews
77We went for the high tea for a baby shower, unfortunately some people couldn’t make it on the day, yet we still had to pay for the people who couldn’t make it! Absolutely appalled, the service was slow and it seemed very unorganised. Management were VERY unprofessional.
Very average.
Arrived and it took at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged before being seated. We then waited for 20 minutes before we could get attention to place our order.
Was told they were out of gluten-free bread - ok, can I have an extra hash brown then (Veggie big breaky) ? Hash brown is not gluten-free. Ok.subbed salmon.
Was told food would be a 30 minute wait. Ok, not ideal but at this stage we've already been here around 25 minutes so we'll wait.
Drinks come around 20 minutes later. Luke warm.
1 hour later, food arrives. "Big" breaky has 1 mushroom, half a tomato, avocado, 1 egg, halloumi and salmon. For $22.
Eggs in Shakshuka are overcooked.
No apologies for the delay or offer for free coffees or anything.
Did ask at the till that we have the price of our drinks deducted, which was done.
Still, terribly slow unprofessional service.
Unfortunately, given my last visit a few months ago where I also waited an hour for food, I won't be returning.
I had organized a surprise dinner party for 35 people and could not have been happier.
The owners Adrian and Corey were ever so helpful and just wonderful to deal with.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The ambiance just beautiful, The staff truly cares about your experience and Jackie the Manager went above and beyond on the night. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in. Highly recommend!
Probably one of the best lunch and breakfast spots around Nedlands.
It's a really nice modern little cafe/restaurant. I went for breakfast and had the pancakes which were just the perfect serving size. Service was really quick too!
This place also looks to turn into a bit of a bar in the afternoon as they have beer on tap and plenty of spirits, it's definitely a nice place to go after work for a drink with friends.
Food was OK, but service could be better. Also I could have caught a flight in the same time it took to get our food. Far too long. Used to be better.
This place is really nice and is deceptively big. I am sure you can hire it for functions and easily have a hundred people out the back (it just keeps going?)
Ordered the spiced shakshuka but received a luke warm bean plate with poached egg on top rather than a baked egg dish that took about 30-40 minutes to come out. Bread wasn’t too fresh and a bit on the stale side. However, atmosphere is brilliant and music selection is good as well. Hard to give this place another chance for breakfast.
We waited 1 hour for our brunch. We were told at the 45 min mark it would be 5 mins. It wasn’t there after 10 mins. We walked out. Very poor.
Really nice staff and fabulous food, especially when they change up the menu a little and try something new! It's been a favourite for a while
Slow delivery. Waited 45 min for hollandaise eggs and a salad. And there werent many customers.
Couple next to us gave up and left without getting their food.
2 eggs and 1 piece of bacon on soggy ciabatta with no butter for $19.
Even by perth standards this is poor.
We were excited to try this place because it’s well reviewed online and has quite a few options for vegetarians. My partner had the crispy fish and potatoes cooked in duck fat. The fish was nice but the potatoes weren’t very well cooked. They had been boiled then cut in half to be fried, but they hadn’t been fried long enough to make much difference and one of then was just whole and boiled, and clearly hadn’t been fried at all. I had the gnocchi, which comes with roasted cherry tomatoes. There were 3 halves of cherry tomatoes on my plate. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I don’t feel like 1 and a half cherry tomatoes is enough.
Burgers were good. Gnocchi was yummy but felt the portion was too small. Went there for a birthday, two of the staff knew and we let them know when we booked online. Usually they would do something special but nothing, what’s the point of selecting that it’s a birthday celebration online?:/
We are regulars here, unfortunately the service just keeps getting slower and slower. The food is great but honestly it’s not worth the wait.
Way, way too slow. It took 15 minutes before our order was taken, then we waited 40 minutes for simple eggs on toast. When we questioned the delay we were told they were very busy & our breakfasts were now being plated. We waited another 10 minutes then gave up. 1 hour after sitting down we walked out without any food. I dont believe "we are very busy" is a valid excuse in any restaurant - you know how many tables you have & what your kitchen is capable of. Shame, because our first visit was nice & it's a pretty cafe but we will never go back.
Food was great, ambience is excellent, moderately priced. Last dined with a large group and a few people's drink orders were forgotten when we enquired as to where the drinks were we were dealt with rather rudely but nothing major. Overall very good.
Great food, great location and atmosphere (both indoors and out). Service was fantastic. The really cater well for gluten free meals and are happy to forgo cakage for Birthdays. Some minor niggles would be portion size, for the meal (pork belly) I had, I was still hungry after. Highly recommend and will be back for more.
Nice coffee. Don't be deceived by the shop frontage. A lot of seats out the back in a garden setting.
Wonderful venue, with a solid range of brunch and lunch options. Coffee is good but not the best in the locality.
I had the French toast for breakfast which was really delicious. Highly recommend if you prefer a sweet breakfast. I would give 5 stars to this cafe if the chai latte I had would have been better. Unfortunately it tasted more like hot milk than chai. Also we received our hot drinks after we had already finished our food which was a little bit dissapointing.
They stayed open passed closing time in order to cater for my daughters baptism reception and did so very well. Very helpful. Is a great place.
