Lions And Tigers reviews
51 If you intend to go there for the food, be prepared to be disappointed. Worst dahl ever; sourdough naan can only be described as bizarre, accompanied by a mysterious addition of sweet cream; main dishes are united by a remarkable absence of flavor or any discernible character; and so on. If you like Indian food, you'll do better in any regular Indian restaurant.
The atmosphere is nice and makes for pleasant on-social-media-shareable photos.
Sadly all roar and no bite, the fish curry was chewey, bland and tasteless, the potatoes were reheated and again bland. Not sure why hyped so much - disappointed by food, not sure any Indian had any input whatsoever, but Gin and Tonic #1 was fab.
Unexpected Indian-East Asian fusion delight for your senses. Kudos to Steve! Chill and comfortable atmosphere with eclectic decor. Excellent for a Saturday evening.
Refreshing great Indian fusion food with outstanding service and fair pricing in comparison to other spots in Freo. Dishes were innovative and tasty. Standouts were sour dough naan and chicken curry but everything we ordered was great. Small but well selected wine list. Highly recommended and sadly we couldn't get another booking whilst in Freo. Definitely book this place
We came here for Saturday lunch.wasn’t that busy which is nice and quiet. The food was really good and we particularly enjoyed the makhani which came with such tender chicken. I had thought the parfait might be presented a little better, but the flavors were really nice. The staff were really attentive and friendly.definitely recommend this restaurant.
Nice venue in the heart of Freo. Friendly, professional staff. Eclectic, small menu with a nod to Indian fusion. The goan fish curry was bathed in a thick, creamy sauce which had a delicate flavour and fish cooked to perfection (although no mention of what the fish was?) Disappointingly our other dishes were served barely warm, lemon rice and pork and chorizo momos were and the cauliflower and cabbage salad were all a bit bland and needed more flavour or seasoning. We ordered the coconut and lenongrass parfait with geraldton wax for dessert, sadly the last two elements were non existent in this simple icecream but it had a nice texture and coconut flavour was definitely the hero. Highlight for us was the chilli margaritas, which is why I rated our dining experience a 4!
What a marvellous display of artistic flare! Throw away the regular Indian from down the road, make way for the modern Indian inspired cuisine served at this character lit building. This was a much anticipated meal, which lived up to expectations. A great venue!
What an amazing dining experience! The vibes are good, the service was topnotch (shoutout to our gorgeously charming server Cherry), and the food was impeccable!
Standout dish for us was the wagyu skewers, but honestly everythinf we ordered was a hit.
Do yourself a favour and get the boss level margarita - you won't regret it.
Absolutely delicious. Great customer service. Fast and friendly. Food was to die for, the Burrata was my favourite. Every dish was delicious, highly recommended.
Bhajis! Such flavourful food, loved everything but the bhajis were a standout. Excellent cocktails and the service was impeccable. There’s a lot of different seating options when booking online, seeing them in person they all look comfortable with a nice vibe. Upstairs dining had a view of the open kitchen, outside is on the street.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Interesting and tasty menu of twists on Indian favourites, many elements made in house. Drinks options are well thought out and interesting. Wine list is full of options and love. Thank you!
Food was nice, but nothing amazing for the price unfortunately. And the portion size is very tiny. Expect it to be an expensive night out for not a lot of food! The location is nice and the staff were friendly
It was a very pleasant atmosphere. Very welcoming. The customer service from Liv was fantastic, food was delivered without any delay considering the restaurant was packed. Liv was very friendly and suggested right portioning for the family.
We had the most amazing dinner at Lions and Tigers, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Will definitely be back!
6/5 Stars. Everything was absolutely top notch. The food, staff, ambiente and the handling of a food allergy was awesome. I can only recommend this place.
The foods are too salt. The shrimp is not good. Moreover the staff double size the dishes without notify the customers. Anyway very disappointing experience
Brilliant take on modern Indian fusion. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Shout out to the young lad with the long hair, top service.
Exceptional food and service. Best food I've had in perth and hands down best service also. The vanilla buratta was out of this world. Amazing restaurant. Expensive but worth every penny. Must visit.
Just perfect! Great service. Great venue. Informative, friendly staff. Beautiful food. The pappadums with Dahl and pickles were a delicious starter. Followed by Chicken Tikka, Goan fish, Spiced Pumpkin, Masala Prawns, Lemon Rice and Pomegranate and Cabbage salad. There wasn’t a morsel left. All accompanied by good wine and company.
Thanks Lion and Tigers for a wonderful meal.
Very overpriced for tiny portions
Food lacked flavour and complexity that you would expect
Almost a 45 min wait from ordering until mains arrived (on a Wednesday night)
Staff were friendly and nice vibes
But this doesn't make up for the poor food, high prices and limited menu
Give it a miss
