Hands down the best Thai around. We always feel satisfied eating here as the flavours of the food always hit the spot. Keep up the great work!

We went on a Saturday for dinner without having a booking. It was very busy inside, the restaurant was almost full and the 2 small tables that were left were reserved. The staff gave us one of those tables.

The food was very good. We had chicken green cury and chilli basil seafood stir fry with steamed rice and chicken satay with peanut sauce to share.
The penuts sauce was to die four, chicken skewers were a bit dry but very tasty. Both main course dishes were well cooked, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous. I couldn't eat all my food. The steamed rice does not come with the food and needs to be ordered separately.
The regular dishes are around $20 / portion. It was a bit more expensive for seafood. The steamed rice is $4.5/person, but the portions were generous. We finished eating and it was rice left. At other thai restaurants i have been lately, the rice is never enough. Both meal with riceand the entre were about $65, that is not expensive for a couple weekend night out. The restaurant is BYO. So bring your wine when you go next time there.

I also noticed that they have a kids menu and is not expensive. Kids' meals are just $10/ portion. Lots of thai restaurants don't have kids' menu.

Staff were very attentive. The ice cold water been on our table within a minute from our arrival. They took our order as soon as we decided what to eat and the dishes came out of the kitchen with 15 minutes.

Overall, i give the restaurant 5 stars. We'll be back there for sure, and we'll make a booking next time

First trip on recommendation. Absolutely first class food, tasty, well presented with pleasant staff and a helpful manager. Will not be our last visit. Highly recommended.

My partner and I started going here on Valentine’s Day, and gave ordered weekly since for date night. We either dine in or get takeaway, and the service is great either way; soo friendly, pleasant and just all round warming.

Their food is amazing and so fresh, we always get chicken pad Thai, satay sticks and money bags; and it’s perfect every time! When we get take away it’s just as fresh.

Can’t rate this place enough, friendly staff, lovely food, a prompt service (plus very nice phone manner when ordering take-away) ; you can’t go wrong some photos added for the amazing food (also very good portions!). Good bang for your buck!

We had our dinner there last week Thursday. Good ambience however overpriced by looking at their service portions. I wish I could give 0 stars for the service as too much wait for the food and the waitress forget to mention the dish to the kitchen. Coordination between the kitchen and front house person was too poor. Ordered vegetarian rice and on the menu, under the description it was mentioned it comes with Tofu but there was no tofu, instead we were told that for tofu you gotta request it separately. Why in the first place it mentioned that it includes Tofu?
Too much wait, missed one main dish and 20+minutes just for the ice cream is worthless.

Food was delicious! Will definitely be returning.
The reason for 4 stars for service rather than 5 is only because when ordering a curry I didn't realise it didn't come with rice but the waitress didn't indicate and let us know that at the time. Other than that everything was great

Great little restaurant with a clean & neat interior. The owners are lovely & the rest of the staff are friendly. The food is decent - not the absolute best Thai flavours, but the quality of the ingredients is top-notch & the dishes are nonetheless tasty & enjoyable.

Always the very best ️ we love the delicious food and friendly welcoming we receive every time we visit. The restaurant is always packed - not surprising at all considering it's so amazing!

servers leant over people to reach other side of the table.

Best Thai food you'll have North of the river. Amazing flavours, great value for money, BYO, best of all the owner is on floor ensuring you have a wonderful time and love the food. We had takeaway first 5/5 and the dine in experience is even better!

Make sure you book, it gets real busy. Scrumptious dishes. Can be a wait to get your order but it's worth the wait. Staff work hard and remain cheerful

Unfortunately the food was very bland for the expensive cost. For nearly $19 for chicken fried rice it was oily, flavourless and full of deli type of veggies which are not authentic to Thai cuisine. Thai fried rice does not have corn or cubed carrot nor peas.
The customer service was professional and good.

Really tasty food - we had veg fried rice, Chilli Basil Tofu and green curry / all dishes tasted delicious. Definitely worth coming back.

Lion Thai is our favourite place to go to! The best thai and also the best place to eat in general! Constant good food, good service and atmosphere. 6 STARS!

The best Thai in WA that I have ever had. Very respectful, kind owners and staff. Chef is very talented! This is our new favourite spot. Recommend to all! (Byo if you are a drinker).

It’s say the operating hour is until 10pm.

We reached at 8.30pm and they said their kitchen is closed.

It’s very disappointing about the timing listed yet they can closed the kitchen whenever they want.

We always eat at this restaurant it’s the best Thai food I have ever had portions are great, I always get kings prawns and they are lots, Staff are so nice

Update - went to their new site, well new to me.

Lovely food and service. Tamarind prawns are to die for!

Definitely a re-visit needed.
