Lilac Hill Park reviews
36Beautiful place to have a short walk. However the smell from the river isnt nice so I personally wpuld not picnic here.
Great place for a picnic or throw a line in the river. Plenty of room for the kid's to run around and burn off some energy.
Lovely park in Guildford by the Swan River for either a picnic or a walk along the river. Signs point out the history of the area. A good toilet block is available along with picnic tables and chairs under large shady trees. Bench seats are located along the river if you need to take a rest or just sit and watch the sun go down. A great place for family picnics. Plenty of room for children to run around.
Really cool ground to watch and play cricket on. Watching the 1st Grade and 8th Grade Finals last year were really good.
Lilac Hill is a true gem of Midland. With the Swan River meandering through region and rolling well maintained parks this is a great area for families. There are modern toilet and now facilities within an easy walk of the car park. As well as many locations to fish in the river and chase the elusive black bream.
I really liked watching the cricket here, with lots of shady trees, $5 beer in glass bottles, really good $5 burgers, and the adjacent river. I had never been here before today, but went to watch the Perth Scorchers WBBL match and was surprised by the free entry.
It is very quick leaving if you park up the street so don't need to queue to get out.
Watched the Scorchers play the Sixers WBBL, unfortunately we lost There were heaps of food trucks and a few different inflatable water park things for the kids. I noticed a lot of kids walking barefoot as well, so obviously the lawn is safe. Parking was well set out, and there were heaps of toilets. A great family event!
Love watching the womans scorches play here. Such a beautiful venue and to too it off it's free
So much for the kids to do. Water activities Games They just love going
It has long been a gorgeous slice of the Swan and is now well used for the WBBL cricket competition in the summer.
This is a great spot to watch the cricket. Easy to get too, with a nice picnic area by the Swan River in Guildford.
Beautiful spot. Mid week nice and quiet for a stroll with the dog. Nice green grass and wildlife to listen to.
Can be very peaceful, and some good spots to go fishing. Nice for walks and too take the dog along also have a BBQ or just a picnic
Nice park on the way into Guildford. Great spot to go fishing on the banks of the river or have a BBQ. Also check it out during the summer as the women's big bash league play there.
Lovely park to bring children and dogs on leads. Picnics and walks. Sad riverbank erosion though.
Social area for canoeing, kayaking, to play or watch cricket. Also a small kids playground and I saw plenty people exercising their dogs. There is also shelter areas to meet and have lunches etc.
A beautiful setting by the river, the best in the WACA competition for cricket matches with plenty of shade for families
