Lilac Hill Park reviews
36Gorgeous little location, public toilets etc. Would have given 5 starts but they are doing work there atm so accessibility to some areas was tricky, also no shade to the playground area.
Strategic location to picnic and unwind. There's an opportunity to engage in recreational fishing and ample parking or can be accessible on foot if using the train from Guildford station.
Nice area to walk, have a picnic or fish along the Swan River has toilet facilities bbqs and some shelters
Great area and picnic spot. Great playground ideal for dogs and families. Amenities lacked paper and hand soap.
Great shade. Bring your chair.your pot of tea.someone to share with.and your done! O.k. Just a book will do!
Fantastic spot to put the kayaks in and spend the day relaxing on the rivers edge. Public toilets needed some attention.
I love Lilac Hill for many reasons. Fond memories of great Cricket matches reside here still. The place has atmosphere worthy of a great Cricket stadium. Tranquil beside the Swan River it rests whilst no quarter is being offered by opponents in combat for points or bragging rights. An opportunity for all Cricket lovers embracing all genders, beliefs and ability.
Only my home ground is better.
Awesome experience here watching WBBL only thing I did not like was the public toilets they were filthy. There needs to be a cleaner inspecting the toilets once every half hour or hour
One of Guildfords best kept secrets.stunning river views, lovely trees and plenty of green. Shelters for picnics and free bbqs with a small kid's play area. Oh, and clean, new toilets!
A Great Day With Family For A Picnic Or To Walk The Dog, And If The Coffee Van Is There Can Grab A Coffee or Something To Eat
Beautiful park near a bridge connecting Guilford to the Swan Valley.
Great spot for walking, fishing and maybe some kayaking! There is a sports field adjacent. Some fallen logs and grassy fields with little flowers and ducks looks great during sunset as this photo attached.
Such a beautiful place to take the dog for a stroll, shame this rain has flooded the area I hope it returns to normal again soon
Nice area especially in spring / summer.
Needs more picnic seats/ table areas. Very lacking considering the toilet block was built.
Turf is sensational. Amenities on the other hand disgusting. Had a 5/6 kids game there this morning and couldn't take the kids or go myself. It stank of weeks old mess. Floor was covered in urine so too the seats. No toilet paper. Perhaps some of the money spent on turf maintenance can go to cleaning toilets and actually providing 1st world facilities instead of something out of a third world country.
The consistency of the sweets preparation is not the same every time.
Even if you buy the same product again.
Good park with the river accessible makes it canoe and fishing friendly and on the weekend during summer you may even catch the next Don Bradman smashing the ball around.
Beautifully maintained grass for supporting events. Great place to walk around with lots of tree shade along the sides.
Beautiful and serene place to walk the dogs and bring your family and young children to have fun, always spend our weekend with the kids and dogs here and they love it
Lovely relaxing area on the banks of the Swan River. I deal for a lazy Sunday BBQ and a little fishing.
