44Not bad as they are wood fired.although the menu could do with a make over.and the price could be looked at as well.as it cost $72 dollars for just 2 pizzas but all the flavours were there
We've been fairly regular customers of Allegro's for well over a decade but the pizzas we had last week were truly abysmal. They were dry, overcooked and the pre-cooked onion topping on the Saladier was so thick that it was an off-putting, slimy mess.inedible. I was a pizza cook in my Uni days and know you have to try pretty hard to make a pizza as bad as these were!
As soon as you walk through the doors the aroma said "we know food". The rustic decor was in keeping with the continental experience. The food was as tasteful if not more than what our senses had been anticipating.
We enjoyed a large fresh garden salad and a gourmet supreme pizza. Highly recommend.
I knew the food was going to be great (and it was) but what makes this place unique is its "ambience", its good vibes.
