We hired a 6 berth motorhome for a family trip (mum, dad & 3 “adult” kids). We hired the motorhome for 3 weeks, travelled from home to Coral Bay, down to Albany & then home again. All up being close to 4000k’s travelled. I gotta say.it was one of THE best holidays we’ve had. The staff at Lets Go were fantastic, the motorhome was awesome. We had one little issue in Margaret River, rang the Roadside Assist number provider ‘ someone was out within the hour to look/fix our motorhome. Turned out it was just a computer glitch & we were back on the road. Perfect! Will definitely be hiring a Let’s Go motorhome again for future holidays. Thank you Let’s Go!

Terrible experience. Booked online, paid $500 deposit on 11/8/20 and received email confirmation of booking. Went in today to pick up campervan with family in tow all excited about our trip only to be told the booking was cancelled on their system a day after it was made and there was no camper available. At no time was I informed the booking had been cancelled and until today my deposit was not returned. Cue last minute scramble today to find a campervan from alternative supplier (Britz came through) which unfortunately has cost me $450 more than the original Let’s Go booking and first available is tomorrow, meaning I’ve lost a days annual leave. Despite the best efforts of Sylvia in the Perth office to fix the mess today, I will never use this crowd again. Utter shambles.

We couldn't be happier, the customer service from booking to return of vehicle was brilliant. We had a few conversations with the booking team over East and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with nothing was too much trouble. The motorhome was immaculate. Thank you all for your help.

We rented a 6b motorhome to kalbarri and Monkey Mia. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Kids and adults alike loved the van. Service at pick up and drop off was great-thanks Leah!

The people, great, the vans, bloody great. Do yourself a favor and grab a van and see some of what Western Australia has to offer! Really easy to drive, good economy from Perth to Exmouth in a day or 2! Go prepared, organise a powered site, plug in and relax. Bring bin bags or a bin and a clothes airer to dry towels and your boardies and the bed is on the firm side.

Sylvia’s customer service needs to be reviewed. The security and livelihood of 2 adults and an infant child were put at risk because Sylvia authorised the drive home of a faulty vehicle. Never using this company ever again.

Although we had a great trip, Let’s Go Motorhomes has been a very unpleasant company to deal with.

We rented a 3 berth for a trip up north and they’ve been hard to deal with from day one.
You very rarely get someone answering the phone in the Perth shop and when someone picks up it’s usually from over east and they tell you something entirely different from what the Perth people say.

We still decided to go with them but we’ve had further issues:

1) a minor issue was that the kitchen sink wouldn’t get any water down the drain. We called and someone from over east told us to try flush it with the hose and that if this didn’t work he would get a plumber our way to fix this but that this wouldn’t be possible for another 3 days as it was nearly the weekend and it would be hard to get someone fix it for us (side note, they didn’t even try). We ended up finding someone on the campground that took out the one way valve and it was full of shells. This meant the cleaning side of things was overlooked by the company.

2) Some warning lights popped up on our dash board and NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE FOR THREE DAYS! The 24hr roadside assistance phone number for the company was DISCONNECTED and we finally managed to get a hold of someone called Steven over east (again Perth wasn’t answering) and he said he would try to get in touch with the Perth base to get this followed up with. Apparently Perth didn’t receive any communication from the Sydney office and when we managed to leave a message on their message bank, a lady called Sylvia kept cutting us off when we were trying to explain our issues. She was extremely rude and knows no customer service at all! No one knew what the warning lights were or what the issue was but we were told to just keep driving if we felt the vehicle drove ok. They told us this as we were about to start the drive from Exmouth back to Perth with our infant son. Fortunately for us, the vehicle never broke down and we were able to return it as we initially planned.

As we were in the lobby returning the vehicle, Sylvia was again on the phone to someone else that had the exact same mechanical issues. They were also told “KEEP DRIVING, YOU’LL BE RIGHT”

Apart from the shocking customer service received from Sylvia and the AWFUL way they handle picking up the phone, Leah and (I believe her name was) Sherri were really lovely to deal with.

Had everyone been more polite, this would’ve saved us a lot of stress.

Best deals on wheels and better than the franchised companies from overseas.
Local is best allways regardless of a couple of chips and scratches.it's a camper van!

We rented a Camper from Let's Go back in March 2019, but it's taken me this long to remember and leave a review.

The RV we received was fantastic, like new and drove great. And the service at the counter was also great with very friendly staff. But I wanted to share a couple of things that really jaded the experience for us:

1) When we returned the van the staff pointed out 2 very small chips in the windshield. At no point in our journey do I recall a stone hitting the window, but thats not to say they didn't. So we were charged for each chip repair. Please do yourself a favor and VERY thoroughly examine the windshield before leaving the depot. It was not something the staff told us to do when we walked around the van with them. Our attention was always drawn to any tiny scuffs or dings on the body panels. The windshield was never even discussed.

2) This one is why we will never hire from Let's Go again. We have rented many, many vehicles over the years from the likes of Budget, Enterprise, Alamo, etc etc and the damage deposit is ALWAYS placed as a hold on our credit card. A damage deposit of $6000 is required when renting from Lets Go which we understood was placed on our credit card as a hold. The staff at the office confirmed this. When we returned to Canada after our trip and checked our Visa statement we realized the deposit was actually CHARGED to our card, and then refunded when we returned the RV. During the 10 days that we had the vehicle the exchange rate fluctuated very slightly (as it always will) meaning that on a large amount (AU$6000) we ended up being refunded $297.35 less! When I wrote to Let's Go support staff they told me that taking the money is their normal procedure and it is written in small print in the rental agreement. Correct. It is, which we didnt see. BUT in my eyes this is bordering on theft! I paid $297.35 for nothing. Or rather, Let's Go took $297.35 of my money and I received nothing in return. I spoke with my Bank and they agreed that the money should never have been charged to the card, and if Let's Go had just placed a hold on the deposit we would not have lost any money.

So the moral of my (long!) story - Think twice about renting from Let's Go. Their vans are great. Their office staff are great. But the fact they take that deposit from you is a massive red flag. We went with Let's Go because they were a few $$$ cheaper than the competition. But in the end we paid way, way more. I hope this helps some future customers considering an RV rental in Perth.

We rented a camper for a round trip from Perth to Exmouth. The camper made the trip. It read fully equipped with everything you could need, towels, bedding, outdoor table and chair, French press, the lot. The aircon was great for sleeping in Exmouth. We hit a roo and did not get over charged for damages. The staff were great. Hired the 4 berth Conquest. Keep in mind, the deposit is the excess of the insurance level you choose. We got the silver so deposit was $2k. Highly recommended.

Absolute worst experience with this company. I don't normally write reviews but thought other people should be aware of what they are getting themselves into.
I hired the campervan and was told over the phone that a $500 deposit would be taken. When arriving to pick up the campervan I was told they needed not only a $6000 deposit but that this amount would be taken out off a card and not returned for 7 days.
As they have a 7 day minimum the price to up the insurance almost made the trip nonviable.
When I called the company they kept telling me I should have read the email more closely and took no responsibility for the fact that I was advised incorrectly in the first place of the $500 which it turned out did not apply.
Then when I asked to cancel they tried to charge me a full 100% cancellation fee! - For a service I had not even received!
After various calls they agreed to a lesser cancellation fee but by this stage there was no opportunity for me to book anything else.
Further to this I was told the cancellation refund wouldn't be processed until the next day as they had hit their limit on cancellations for the day and could only do so many - leaving me completely short of money for my trip.

I found dealing with this company stressful, a time that should have been exciting has been completely exhausting.
I found the company money hungry and u without knowledge on customer service and their own product.
Use at your own risk!

Great hire experience. Had to call from remote WA re problem with the camper and team was very supportive. Cleaning camper before return important for getting full security deposit back.

Top folk to deal with, the near new Jayco motorhome was CLEAN and fully equipped including shower and toilet, an absolute necessity for the ladies.
Fuel economy was excellent at 14/100 km. The deposit on the hire was transferred on the spot, no quibbling. We'll hire from Lets Go again.

Excellent. Quality of vehicles is outstanding, very luxurious and well maintained. Will definitely hire from them again. Instruction manuals for the vehicles need to be more detailed with better instructions on how everything in the motor homes work, most of the time we just guessed. Well stocked machines with towels, linen, cutlery, bedding and a full tank of water.let's go indeed!

I visited all three motorhome rental companies and by far this was the best. Very friendly and helpful staff. Motorhomes are almost brand new. Very clean and comfortable. No drama on pick up and drop off. I definitely recommend them.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Incredibly unhelpful and unfriendly staff and use dishonest practices - described the excess bond as a credit card holding, and then put through the whole amount as a transaction (earning interest as we earned fees). No happy, and when I tried to complain they ignored my emails.
